Megan walked far from their dorm after walking in on them, her breath shaken and soft. She stopped by a nearby tree, leaning against the bark. Her hand clenched against her shirt. Her vision was blurred, not realizing that it was her tears, making it hard for her to see. Feeling her tears streaming down her face, she wipes them quickly away.

Damn it... Damn it! What was I thinking? Barging into the room like that. Why couldn't I just leave them alone? Why am I crying over something so stupid?... It shouldn't hurt me, but... why does it? I'm overthinking everything... besides, Melody seems like a good person... I should feel happy for him, 'cause that's what... best friends... do...

She takes a few deep breaths to collect herself, drying her tears away and sitting down against the tree. "I can't be like this anymore. I'm crying over nothing at this point... I already said out loud that Leon and I are just... friends... nothing more... nothing less..." The gentle breeze starts to hit her hair. She stares up at the sky with a small sigh. "I hope I didn't make those two uncomfortable by interrupting them..."

She does wish that she could have someone to talk to about her dilemma about the speech if Kim was considering nominating her. Gently shaking her head, she gets up from the grass to head over to the library for a somber place to be at.

I have to face this alone. If I keep leaning on others to help, then I won't be doing much for my own. Besides, I have to depend on myself from now on, even if it means ceasing the prank myself.

Back in the dorm room, Leon was pacing around, feeling a pang of guilt from Megan's sudden appearance as Melody remained sitting on his bed, watching him with slight shame. She couldn't help but feel shame in her body, the love she felt for Leon had started slowly when they were working together on stopping Mike and James. It couldn't be helped the way Leon was very caring for someone close to him, how kind and genuine he is, and how passionate he is for wanting to be a cop. What's not to love about that?

She quietly sighs, having Leon stop his pacing. "She doesn't hate you, you know. She won't blame you for this..." Trying to ease the sheer guilt he is feeling.

Leon let out a small sigh, facing the door Megan left. "I'm not thinking that she is... I can't help but feel like a big idiot. After all, I'm sure she had a slight idea of us... She would tease me about it, so I can get why she would be a bit upset at this... But... I don't know..."

Melody turned away from him, "What do you even think about us?..." She muttered.

Leon glanced at her, muttering. Us? Is that what she wants to know? She is a good person, and I don't want to hurt her. But I am hurting myself more if I still carry these unrequited feelings. Maybe this is my chance to move on... I can't keep feeling like this forever.

"Well... It's... more than that... Besides, we have grown on each other, so... If you want to... we can share that kiss... as a victory."

Melody's lips curved to a slight smile, her cheeks heating up at his words. With a small nod, she agrees. "Right, now let's put to an end to Mike and James's plan to hurt Megan."

Leon gave her a small smile in return, "Now then... Let's get to work."

With no time to lose, Leon and Melody have been waiting for Mike and James to strike. Leon has been eyeing the police cars to make sure that they haven't been graffitied yet. He had his phone in hand to strike the chance of any suspicious activities. Melody was already setting up the body camera in her locker room to catch the person who would be responsible for the stink bombs while Megan was helping Kim out with the decorations. As she helped, Kim was laying out the banner to be spray painted outside.

"So I did it."

Megan glanced over to him as she was carrying the small box of spray paint, "Did what?"
