NATALIA'S POV

Napabalikwas ako ng bangon ng mapagtantong umaga na.

Napatingin ako sa katawan ko. I was still wearing my outfit last night. Nasa guestroom na din ako.

Doon ko naalala na nakatulog ako kagabi habang pauwi.

'Shit. Does that mean Alexander carried me last night? '

Napahilamos ako sa mukha.

'Nevermind, I'll just ask him later.'

Bumaba na ako sa kama at dumeretso sa banyo. Nagtanggal muna ako ng make - up bago naligo.

When I went downstairs, I saw Alexander in the living area talking to Mr. Lopez.

They stopped talking as soon as I stepped down the stairs, and Mr. Lopez went outside the house.

Naiwan kaming dalawa ni Alexander.

Lumapit siya sa akin.

"Let's eat breakfast." iyon lang ang sinabi niya at nauna ng naglakad.

'Hindi pa siya nag - breakfast? Anong oras na ah. Himala.'

Sumunod na ako sakanya. He's just wearing casual clothing, not business attire.

Nang makaupo kami sa hapag ay hindi ko na napigilan pang magtanong.

"Hindi ka ba aalis ngayon?" I asked.

Napatingin siya sa akin.

"No. All of my meetings will be moved tomorrow due to the heavy snow. There's a possibility of a snowstorm later." he answered.

Napalingon ako sa bintana. Tama siya makapal nga ang snow sa labas.

"But I have a lot of paperwork to do today, so I'll be staying in my room." he added.

Hindi na ako umimik at nagpatuloy kami sa pagkain.

"How's your sleep?" he suddenly asked.

Napalingon ako sakanya. He's still eating and looking at his food.

"Who brought me to the room last night?" I asked. Doon palang siya tumingin sa akin.

Uminom muna siya ng tubig.

"Of course I am. Why? Are you expecting Mr. Lopez?" he said, raising a brow.

Napamaang ako sa tanong niya.

"No. Why didn't you just wake me up?" I asked.

"I tried, but you did not wake up." he casually said.

'What?'

"It's okay, you're not that heavy. With this kind of body and muscles, I can carry you effortlessly." he said proudly.

I showed him an exaggerated fake smile on my face.

'You look so full of yourself.'

He bit his lower lip to hide a smirk when I stared at him.

I made a face at him before going back to eat. That made him amused.

He chuckled.

"Yabang." I whispered.

After we ate, we stayed in the living area. Naglalaro si Alexander at Riley, pinapanood ko lang sila.

We were having fun when Mr. Lopez went to us and handed Alexander a phone for a phone call.

Lumayo ng kaunti sa amin si Alexander para kausapin iyon.

Kami nalang ni Riley ang naglaro.

Nang matapos siya sa kausap ay lumapit siya sa amin.
