Third Person POV
"Girls, pupunta lang ako sa airport," Jhoanna announced, getting ready to leave.
The BINI members who were scattered around the living room looked up, intrigued. Sheena, always the curious one, immediately asked, "Ha? Bakit, Ate Jho?"
Jhoanna grinned, barely containing her excitement. "Pinsan ko, si Eunice, umuwi na siya sa Pinas."
"Uy, si ganda?" Mikha piped up, her interest piqued. The girls all knew who Eunice was—Jhoanna had talked about her cousin often enough.
Jhoanna nodded enthusiastically. "Oo, si happy crush mo."
Mikha's cheeks tinted pink as she frowned in mock offense. "Hoy, Jho! H-Hindi ko siya happy crush anymore..." she stammered, clearly flustered. The girls exchanged knowing looks, with Colet and Aiah hiding their smirks.
Jhoanna rolled her eyes playfully. "Sure, Mikha. Sure."
Mikha had actually met Eunice first among them, during a random outing with Jhoanna and her other cousins. The memory of their first encounter flashed in her mind.
Flashback
They were all sitting in a cozy restaurant, enjoying their meal, when one of Jhoanna's cousins suddenly exclaimed, "Hoy, si Eunice uuwi na siya sa Pinas ngayong August!"
Mikha, who was quietly munching on her food, perked up at the mention of a new name. Jhoanna's eyes lit up as she heard the news. "Ha?! Seryoso?! Yes! May chocolate—" she cheered excitedly.
Before she could finish her sentence, she quickly turned to her cousin. "Paki sabihan mo siya ako ang susundo. Miss ko na si Eun kooo," Jhoanna pouted, her excitement evident.
Mikha, sitting beside her, couldn't help but be curious. Leaning closer, she whispered, "Sino si Eunice?" The redhead asked, her voice laced with interest.
Jhoanna turned to her with a proud smile. "Pinsan ko, very close kami. Nasa Korea kasi siya. Look, oh." She pulled out her phone and showed Mikha a photo of Eunice, a beautiful girl with a bright smile that could light up any room.
Mikha's eyes widened as she took in the image. "Ang ganda niya, Jho!" she said, genuinely impressed.
Jhoanna just grinned wider, happy that someone else could see what she did.
Present Day
The trip to the airport was filled with lighthearted banter, but underneath the playful atmosphere, there was a sense of anticipation. Mikha was a little more quiet than usual, lost in her thoughts about Eunice, while Aiah and Colet exchanged quick, knowing glances, both aware that they weren't the only ones who found Eunice attractive.
