Keisha rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Hindi ako bitter, Ma. I'm just—ugh. Never mind."
Charlotte smirked. "Aminin mo na kasi, nag-aalala ka lang sa kapatid mo."
Keisha exhaled sharply. "Of course! Y/N has no idea how dangerous Lucas and Mikki are. Tapos may mga bampira pang nakapaligid sa kanya? Kahit ba sabihin mong seryoso sila, paano kung may hidden agenda sila?"
Charlotte's expression turned serious. "Alam kong iniisip mo 'yan, pero ang totoo, Keisha, mas ligtas siya kasama ang mga 'yon. Hindi lang sila basta anak ng hari ng mga bampira—sila rin ang pinaka-malalakas sa lahi nila."
Keisha clenched her jaw. "Still... I need to see Y/N. I need to make sure she's okay."
