THIRD PERSON POV

"Hoy, Cole, ang red flag mo!" Jhoanna exclaimed, hands on her hips, looking at Colet with a mix of amusement and concern. Colet rolled her eyes, feeling defensive.

"Ha? Excuse me, ang green flag ko kaya!" she shot back, crossing her arms.

"Color blind ata siya," Gwen whispered to Mikha, snickering.

"Bakit ba? Bakit niyo masabi na red flag ako?" Colet demanded, genuinely confused. She thought she was doing okay. Sure, she spent a lot of time with Jhoanna, her best friend, but that was just friendship, right?

Aiah, who had been quietly observing, decided to chime in. "Kasi, Cole, you're always with your best friend. Walang time para sa girlfriend mo. Ang ganda-ganda ng girlfriend mo, caring, loving pa, tas ginawa niya ang lahat para sa'yo. Don't lose her like I did, tangi ka." Aiah's voice was serious, and it struck a nerve. Aiah was Amelia's ex, and they were on good terms, which made her words resonate even more.

"Yeah, Aiah is right," Maloi agreed, nodding thoughtfully.

"Magseselos 'yan si ate Colet, HAHAHAH!" Stacey teased, winking at Colet.

Colet rolled her eyes again, but deep down, she felt a pang of guilt. She knew she had been neglecting Amelia. "Fine, I'll make it up for Amelia," she said, determination creeping into her voice.

---

That night, as Colet lay in bed, she thought about her relationship with Amelia. She missed the sweet moments they shared—the cuddles, the kisses, and the laughter. She had been so caught up in her friendship with Jhoanna that she had taken Amelia for granted.

The next day, Colet made a decision. She would change. She would show Amelia just how much she cared.

"Hey, babe!" Colet greeted Amelia when she saw her later that day. "I was thinking we could have a date night tonight. Just us."

Amelia's face lit up with surprise. "Really? That sounds great!"

"Of course! I'll pick you up at 7, okay?" Colet said, feeling a sense of excitement bubbling inside her.

---

As the clock struck 7, Colet arrived at Amelia's place, a bouquet of flowers in hand. Amelia opened the door, her eyes widening at the sight.

"Wow! Ang sweet mo naman, Cole!" Amelia exclaimed, taking the flowers and smelling them.

"Para sa'yo yan," Colet replied, feeling a warm blush creep up her cheeks. "Ready for our date?"

"Absolutely!" Amelia said, her smile making Colet's heart flutter.

They decided to go to a cozy little restaurant that Colet knew Amelia loved. As they ate, Colet made sure to engage Amelia in conversation, asking her about her day, her dreams, and everything in between. The connection they shared felt electric, and Colet felt herself falling in love all over again.

---

Later that night, they went back to Amelia's condo, where they found Jhoanna hanging out with their friends. Colet felt a twinge of jealousy as she watched Aiah hug Amelia tightly, laughing and joking as they reminisced about their past together.

"Aiah, long time no see!" Amelia said, As aiah smiled pulling Amelia into a warm embrace.

"Yeah! I missed you!" Aiah replied, returning the hug.

Colet watched, a knot forming in her stomach. It was silly to feel this way, but she couldn't help it. Aiah was beautiful and charming, and the way she interacted with Amelia made Colet feel insecure. 'hindi ako nagseselos, hindi ako nagseselos hindi.. tangina nag seselos ako.' Colet thought

As the night went on, Colet found herself growing more and more clingy. She approached Amelia and wrapped her arms around her waist from behind, resting her chin on her shoulder.

"I really missed this," Colet whispered, feeling Amelia's warmth radiate against her. She leaned in and kissed Amelia's lips softly.

Amelia's eyes widened in surprise, but then she smiled, her arms wrapping around Colet's waist. "I missed this too, Cole," she said, her voice soft and inviting.

"Ang saya," Colet said, pulling back slightly to gaze into Amelia's eyes. "Gusto ko na lagi tayong ganyan." colet smiled at her, as she kissed Amelia's neck.

---

As they continued to hang out with friends, Colet felt a surge of protectiveness. She didn't want to lose Amelia to Aiah or anyone else. "Amelia, can I have you all to myself for a moment?" Colet asked, her tone playful but with an underlying seriousness.

Amelia raised an eyebrow, but she smiled and she chuckled. "Okay, baby. Tara, Let's go outside."

They stepped out onto the balcony, the cool night air wrapping around them. Colet turned to Amelia, her heart racing. "I just want to say that I'm really grateful for you. I've been a terrible girlfriend, but I'm trying to change that."

Amelia looked at her, surprise dancing in her eyes. "Colet, I appreciate that. I really do. But you have to know, I want you to be happy too."

"I will be, as long as I have you," Colet replied, leaning in for another kiss. This time, it was deeper, more passionate.

Amelia melted into the kiss, her hands tangling in Colet's hair. "Wow, someone's really feeling clingy tonight," she teased when they pulled apart, her cheeks flushed.

"Guilty as charged," Colet said with a grin, pulling Amelia closer.

---

The weeks flew by, and Colet kept up her newfound clinginess. She would surprise Amelia with little gestures—notes hidden in her bag, spontaneous dates, and cozy nights in. Each time Amelia smiled at her, Colet felt more and more reassured that she was doing the right thing.

One afternoon, while they were at the mall, Colet spotted Aiah talking to Amelia again. She felt that familiar twinge of jealousy but quickly brushed it aside. This time, she was determined to be secure in her relationship.

"Amelia! Tara na, I want to show you something!" Colet called out, rushing over to grab Amelia's hand.

Aiah smirked playfully. "Wow, Colet, someone's getting possessive!"

Colet shot her a glare, but Amelia giggled, squeezing Colet's hand. "Let's go, Cole. I'm curious."

As they walked away, Colet felt a sense of pride swelling in her chest. She was no longer the red flag in their relationship; she was the green flag, ready to love and cherish Amelia wholeheartedly.

---

One evening, as they were lying in bed together, Colet turned to Amelia, a serious expression on her face. "I want you to know that you're everything to me. I've been so lucky to have you in my life."

Amelia smiled softly, brushing her fingers along Colet's cheek. "And I've been lucky to have you too, Cole. I'm so glad you're trying."

"I'll keep trying," Colet promised, leaning in for another kiss. This time, it was filled with passion and sincerity, their connection deepening with every heartbeat.

As they pulled away, Colet felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had finally learned her lesson. No more red flags—just green lights ahead, a path leading to a bright future with Amelia by her side.

And as they snuggled closer, Colet knew that she was ready to embrace every moment of their love, cherishing it like the treasure it truly was. No more red flags—only green lights ahead.
