THIRD PERSON POV

Kyla stepped out of her room, freshly showered and dressed in a light blue long-sleeve blouse tucked neatly into high-waisted white trousers. Her damp hair framed her face softly as she adjusted the cuffs on her sleeves, her movements calm—but her thoughts far from it.

As she descended the stairs, the faint sound of chatter reached her ears. Laughter, footsteps, and the unmistakable screech of Liz's voice echoed through the hallway.

"Nandito na sila?" Kyla blinked, a quiet sigh escaping her lips.

She hadn't even had coffee yet.

As she reached the final step, her eyes scanned the living room—only to see Liz, Wonwoo, Wonyoung, and Joshua comfortably lounging on her couch like they owned the place. Shoes kicked off, drinks already in hand (how did they even—?), and snacks mysteriously set up on the table.

"KYLAAAAA!!!" Liz screamed as soon as she spotted her. "Tignan mo 'tong bahay mo, parang haunted mansion na e! Walang energy! But don't worry, kami bahala."

"Yeah, we brought vibes," Wonyoung said, flashing a peace sign.

"Good morning?" Kyla muttered, raising an eyebrow.

Joshua smiled. "We let ourselves in."

"I noticed," she said dryly.

Meanwhile, behind her, the eight bodyguards were already peeking from the hallway, eyes sharp as they examined the newcomers.

Gwen whispered, "So 'yan yung mga tropa?"

"They look harmless," Maloi said, though she narrowed her eyes at Liz's overly dramatic entrance.

"Harmless? That one screams," Jhoanna said, pointing at Liz.

Colet smirked. "Still less dramatic than Kyla when drunk."

Stacey elbowed her. "Shh. Baka marinig ka."

Kyla sighed and ran a hand through her hair, already sensing this was going to be one hell of a day.

Wonyoung immediately stood up from the couch the moment Kyla walked into the living room. Without warning, she leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hi, babe," Wonyoung said sweetly, giving her a teasing smile.

Kyla blinked, stunned for a moment. Her head still throbbed slightly from the hangover. "Ha? Wony—"

"Miss kita," Wonyoung interrupted, looping her arm with Kyla's. "Don't act shy now."
