THIRD PERSON POV
Manila, Venice Grand Canal Mall.
A car pulled up, revealing Ysabelle Valenciano stepping out in an elegant outfit, black shades on. As she walked, her phone rang. She answered the call without breaking her stride.
"Hello, Ysa? Nasan ka?" a voice on the line asked.
"Yeah, I'm here."
"Dito ako banda sa—"
Ysa ended the call abruptly as a florist handed her a bouquet.
"Thank you," she said, carrying it with her.
She arrived at her destination and looked around. Spotting her client raising his hand, Ysa smirked and walked toward him.
"Ysa, natawagan ko na siya. Five minutes daw, pupunta na siya dito. Pina-order niya ako pero kinabahan pa rin ako at nakalimutan kong bumili ng bulak—"
He was cut off when Ysa handed him the bouquet.
"Sunflowers," she said.
The guy smiled widely.
"Her favorites," Ysa added.
"Ang galing mo talaga! You're the best, Ysa!" he said, beaming at her.
Ysa took off her sunglasses, raising an eyebrow.
"Fedora hat?" she asked.
"Oh, bakit?" he said, adjusting the hat nervously.
"Sigurado ka ba d'yan? Is she meeting you or Bruno Mars? Do you really think you look like someone with 24 karat magic right now?"
She sighed and walked toward her own table.
"Okay naman ah... Ysa..." he muttered, glancing at his outfit.
Trying to stay calm, he took a deep breath while Ysa ordered a drink for herself.
"Hi Katy, good to see you," he practiced quietly, looking ridiculous as he rehearsed lines to himself.
Katy soon appeared—her purple hair flowing, wearing a bright yellow dress. Ysa watched as the guy stood up to greet her.
"Hi, Katy," he said.
"Hi," Katy replied.
"Umupo ka."
"Thank you so much." Katy sat down.
"So... kamusta yung biyahe mo?" he asked nervously.
"Actually, it was so traffic—but anything for you. I'll do anything for you," Katy said sweetly. "Oh, by the way, this is for you."
He handed her the bouquet that Ysa had brought earlier.
Ysa nodded at him from her table. He winked back, signaling that things were going well.
