THIRD PERSON POV

Rhea stood in the kitchen, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she flipped the pancakes in the skillet. The smell of fresh pancakes filled the air, mixing with the faint scent of her body wash from earlier. She had already showered, but her mind was still tangled with the conversation she'd had with Mikha the previous day.

"Rhea, it's between me or Aiah. Please choose me." Mikha's words echoed in her head, reminding her of the heavy decision hanging over her.

Rhea wasn't one to make impulsive decisions, and this was no exception. Mikha was right—there had always been a tension between them, one that Mikha had finally pointed out. But Aiah... Rhea couldn't ignore how she felt about her either. Aiah's presence had always been comforting, like a soft breeze on a warm summer day. her comfort zone, her unpaid therapist.

The pancake was perfect, golden brown on the edges, light and fluffy in the middle. Rhea placed it on the plate beside her cereal, but her appetite wasn't as strong as usual. She hadn't felt hungry since that conversation, but she knew she had to eat.

Sitting down at the table, she stared at the meal in front of her, her mind racing. Both Mikha and Aiah had been so different in their approaches, yet equally persistent. But this wasn't something Rhea could decide overnight. She needed time.

As she poured herself some milk, her phone buzzed on the counter. It was a message from Aiah, followed by one from Mikha.

Aiah: "Good morning, Rhea. I hope you're doing okay today. ^__^!"

Mikha: "Did you sleep well? I was thinking about us... about what i said yesterday."

Rhea set her phone down and took a deep breath. She wasn't ready to face either of them yet, but she knew that sooner or later, she'd have to make a choice.

For now, she decided to focus on the moment. One step at a time. She took a bite of her pancake, the sweetness of it comforting her for just a brief moment. Maybe, just maybe, everything would work out in the end.

Rhea's heart skipped a beat when her phone dinged again. She glanced at the screen, seeing a message from Aiah.

Aiah: I'm coming over, Rhea. :)

A small smile tugged at Rhea's lips as she quickly set her phone down. Aiah was coming over. She wasn't sure what to feel — excited, nervous, maybe a little bit of both. But the truth was, she hadn't seen Aiah in a few days, and a part of her had been waiting for this moment.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. Rhea's pulse quickened. She stood up quickly, almost knocking over her cereal in her rush. She opened the door, and there stood Aiah, a bouquet of fresh flowers in her hand.
