THIRD PERSON POV
"Nasa coffee shop ulit tayo, ah," Kim commented as she sat down across from Maloi. "Bakit dito na naman?"
"Eh kasi, favorite mo 'to, diba?" Maloi winked at you. "Plus, gusto ko rin makita yung smile mo habang umiinom ng favorite mong frappuccino."
Kim rolled your eyes, though she couldn't help the small smile forming on your lips. "Ewan ko sayo. Flirty mo talaga."
"Alam mo naman, natural lang 'to," she said with a playful grin. "Saka, hindi ka naman nagrereklamo, diba?"
Kim shook her head, taking a sip of her drink. "Kung minsan nga, iniisip ko kung seryoso ka ba o nagpapatawa lang."
"Nako, serious ako palagi 'pag ikaw ang kausap," she said, leaning closer. "Ikaw lang kasi ang nagpapasaya sa araw ko."
Kim's heart skipped a beat. she always had feelings for Maloi, but her constant flirting made it hard for her to tell if she felt the same way. "Tama na nga 'yan, Maloi. Mag-aaral pa tayo, remember?"
"Okay, okay, but one last thing," she said, her tone turning a bit more serious. "Kung may gusto kang sabihin, sabihin mo na. Hindi naman kita huhusgahan."
Kim looked down at her drink, feeling a mix of nervousness and anticipation. "Yves, totoo ba 'tong ginagawa mo? Kasi, baka naman nagpapatawa ka lang."
She reached across the table, holding your hand. "Hindi ako nagpapatawa. Kung totoo lang, matagal ko nang gustong sabihin sa'yo 'to."
Kim felt her face heat up as she met maloi's gaze. "Ano 'yun?"
"Na gusto kita," she said softly, her eyes sincere. "Hindi lang bilang kaibigan. Alam kong matagal na tayong magkaibigan, pero gusto ko sanang subukan kung pwede pa tayong maging higit pa doon."
Kim felt a wave of relief and happiness wash over her,"Yves, gusto rin kita. Matagal na. Natatakot lang ako na baka hindi mo seryoso yung mga biro mo."
She squeezed your hand gently. "Hindi biro 'to, promise. Gusto ko maging tayo, kung papayag ka."
"Payag ako," She said with a smile, feeling a sense of joy and excitement. "Gusto ko rin maging tayo."
Maloi's face lit up with a big smile. "Ayos! Simula ngayon, hindi na lang ako magiging flirty bestfriend mo. Ako na rin ang magiging girlfriend mo."
"Ang cheesy mo talaga," Kim laughed, but she felt genuinely happy.
"Cheesy pero totoo," she replied, leaning closer to give you a quick, sweet kiss on the lips. "Simula ngayon, akin ka na."
"Akin ka rin," Kim whispered, feeling her heart swell with love and affection.
In that moment, kim knew things would never be the same, but kim were more than ready to start this new chapter with Maloi.
