THIRD PERSON POV

Y/N woke up early, her eyes blinking as they adjusted to the dim light filtering through the curtains. She stretched slightly, feeling the warmth around her, then froze.

'Lintek...' she thought, her gaze shifting around the large bed.

Her eight manliligaw—Aiah, Maloi, Colet, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena—were all sleeping soundly around her, their arms draped lazily over pillows, each other, and almost her.

Y/N carefully glanced at the clock on the bedside table. 6:30 AM.

She sighed. "Okay, gutom ako, shet," she mumbled under her breath. then tiptoed toward the door.

Y/N let out a relieved sigh as she made it out of the room. The mansion was quiet, only the soft ticking of a nearby clock filling the silence.

Her stomach grumbled.

She made her way to the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. Today was already going to be exhausting, she could feel it. After what happened yesterday at the library, she wasn't sure if she was even allowed to be alone. The girls had been overprotective before, but now?

'They're going to be impossible,' she thought, shaking her head.

Y/N rummaged through the fridge, looking for something quick to eat. May natirang fruits, eggs, and—aha!—some leftover pancakes from yesterday. She placed a plate in the microwave and started heating them up.

"Akala mo makakatakas ka, no?"

Y/N jumped, nearly knocking the plate over. She turned around and saw Sheena leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, a lazy smirk on her lips.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Y/N whispered, glaring.

"Same question, babe," Sheena teased, walking into the kitchen. "Dapat nasa bed ka pa, kasama namin."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Nagugutom ako, okay?"

Sheena chuckled, watching as Y/N grabbed her plate. "You should've woken us up. Hindi ka pwedeng mag-isa ngayon."

Y/N huffed. "Tigil na kayo sa kaka-overprotective. Isa lang 'yung umatake sa'kin kahapon, and besides—"

"Isa lang?" Sheena cut her off, raising a brow. "Y/N, that thing almost hurt you. If we weren't there..."

Y/N's grip on her fork tightened. She knew Sheena had a point, but she still hated feeling helpless.

Sheena sighed and softened her gaze. "Come here," she said, pulling Y/N closer. She ran a gentle hand through Y/N's hair before resting her chin on her head. "Alam naming kaya mong alagaan sarili mo, pero hindi ka na ordinaryo, Y/N. Alam mo 'yun, di ba?"
