It was a lively celebration at Maloi's condominium, and despite the boisterous atmosphere, Solene had retreated to the sanctuary of Maloi's room. Lying on the bed, she murmured, "Daming tao huhu, ayoko lumabas." She gazed at her reflection in the mirror, admiring her looks. "Ganda ko ah," she said with a smirk.
Meanwhile, in the living room, Maloi and her friends were engaged in a game of truth or dare. As the bottle spun and pointed at Maloi, Sheena squealed, "Hahays finally!"
"Oh ate Maloi, truth or dare!" Sheena asked eagerly.
Maloi grinned and replied, "Dare heh."
"I dare you to make Solene jealous. Hindi ko pa nakikitang nagseselos si Solene eh," Sheena declared, followed by Stacey's agreement, "Hoy oo nga noh!"
"Baka hindi na pindot si envy," Jhoanna laughed, and the others joined in.
"Okay, pero paano?" Maloi asked, looking for ideas.
"Try mo yung music video ni Maki, wala pa daw nakita ni Solene," Mikha suggested, and Colet agreed, "Oo nga, feel ko nagseselos na siya. Try mo baka ma-work."
Maloi nodded enthusiastically. "Sige, gawin natin ngayon. Dapat mag-video tayo HAHA ipost ko sa birthday niya," Gwen said as she grabbed her phone.
"Sige, tatawagin ko na siya," Maloi said, walking towards her room. "Baby!"
"Hmmm? Yes, baby?" Solene replied, adjusting her hair.
"Diba may bagong kanta si Maki, tapos nasa M/V ako? Gusto mo bang panoorin?" Maloi asked, trying to sound casual.
"Sure, why not?" Solene said with a small smile, though inwardly, she was less thrilled. She followed Maloi to the living room where everyone was waiting.
"Ali bunso, umupo ka dito," Gwen said, indicating a chair for Solene.
"Okay?" Solene raised her eyebrows, sitting down. "Ano gagawin ko dito?" she asked.
"Syempre, mo tanaw ug M/V," Colet said, making everyone laugh. Solene knew how to speak Bisaya, thanks to Aiah and Colet's lessons.
"Anong music video ang papanoorin ko?" Solene asked.
"Dilaw te, music video ni Maki at si ate Maloi mo," Sheena said, as she searched for the video.
"Mag-react ka bebe," Gwen said, patting Solene's head.
"Ha, okay..." Solene responded, forcing a smile despite her growing discomfort.
As the music video started, Solene's poker face was on full display. When she saw Maloi's face, she smiled a little, but her smile faded during the scene where Maloi and Maki interacted closely. Solene's smile turned into a forced one, and she tried to mask her irritation.
"Hindi ako nagseselos, hindi ako nagseselos—" her mind raced as she saw Maloi crying in one scene, followed by a piggyback ride with Maki. Solene raised an eyebrow and thought, "Okay, tapos na." She rolled her eyes discreetly.
After the video ended, Maloi bid goodbye to her friends. "I-update kami ha if nagseselos talaga si Solene," Aiah said.
"Oo, I will. Don't worry," Maloi promised.
"Nagseelos talaga yun, look oh," Stacey laughed, referencing Solene's reaction to the video. They all chuckled. "Sige na, byebye girls! See you tomorrow!"
Maloi closed the door and locked it. She hurried back to her room where she found Solene lying on the bed, giving her a glare.
"Oh, na pano ka?" Maloi asked, blinking in surprise.
Solene mumbled something inaudible.
"Baby, I can't hear you," Maloi said, sitting beside Solene and taking her hand. Her gaze fell on Solene's phone, which was open to a search of "Maki and Maloi." Maloi smirked, realizing what was happening.
"Nagseelos ka noh?" Maloi teased.
"Ha? Ako? Nagseselos? No," Solene replied with a calm smile, though her insides betrayed her true feelings.
"Come on, pretty girl, talk to me," Maloi urged, looking into Solene's eyes.
Solene sighed, dropping her pretense. "Oo na, aaminin ko na nagseselos ako." She pouted and hid her face in Maloi's neck.
Maloi chuckled at her reaction. "Sorry na, baby~ HAAHAHAHAHA. I was dared to make you jealous," Maloi admitted, laughing.
Solene rolled her eyes, "Luh okay."
"Okay lang, akin ka lang babiii," Maloi said, pulling Solene close.
"Oo, I love you, baby," Maloi whispered, gently grabbing Solene's chin and kissing her lips. She continued to kiss Solene's neck, holding her close.
