3rd Point Of View

With a soft sigh, (Y/n) closed the doors behind her as she exited the temple. She'd left at just the right time, when the sun had just started to set, making it look as if fire was burning among the skies. It was beautiful to watch- calming her as she walked towards the steps and took a seat on the highest one. Her eyes were tired as she looked up at the sky, as if her entire body wanted nothing more than to go back to the north wing, curl into a ball and sleep.
"It's good to see you outside, my lady." A voice spoke from behind her, making her turn with suprise before offering the newcomer a tired smile.

"Uraume." (Y/n) said softly with a smile, "I guess it has been a while since I've trapped myself in the North Wing." The girl turned her head back to the skies as Uraume came closer, standing behind her with her arms formally held in front of her, clasped together with respect as she, herself looked up to admire the sunset, nodding in agreement.
"Indeed, it has." Uraume agreed. It took (Y/n) a few moments to reply, unsure if it was because she was too tired to make conversation or if it was because she was too concerned with the topics she wanted to steer it towards.

"Has there been any updates- any news on... you know?" (Y/n) finally asked, "Sukuna stopped telling me any updates after he'd found out it was one of his curse users who betrayed us- like he'd become embarrassed of it, as if it has shifted all the blame onto him." And it was true. He had become embarrassed by it- ashamed even. (Y/n) saw it in his aura everytime she looked into his eyes.

"I assume he has not said anything more to you because there has not been more to say." Uraume hummed, "Everyday he sets out with the curse users in search for your paintings only to come back unsuccessful. He would not want to update you on his failures." With that, (Y/n) both agreed and understood. It wasn't like Sukuna to boast on his faliures- because to him, there shouldn't be anything that he could not accomplish. Ryomen Sukuna was the strongest sorcerer in the world, after all.

"I'm surprised that he hasn't given up already." The young girl sighed, a frown forming at her lips. Maybe she was selfish for making Sukuna do this for her- either way, these paintings would become curses- with or without her. It was just a matter of when.
"He made an oath to you." The white haired woman replied, making (Y/n) whirl around with wide eyes.
"He's told you?" (Y/n) asked with surprise.
"He mentioned that it was his first oath- and he'd die before breaking it." Uraume confessed to the girl, making her pause, a soft smile growing on her lips.
"He's incredible, isn't he?" (Y/n) asked softly.

"The Lord has priorities- and you top them all, I would presume." Uraume guessed casully, having no idea what her words done to the girl. "But if you don't mind me asking, my Lady... What are so special about those paintings?" After this question, (Y/n) realised that Sukuna hadn't even told her what those paintings truly were- she then couldn't help but wonder if the curse users knew- or if they were searching for what they assumed to be just ordinary paintings.

"They hold what could become the world's most powerful cursed spirits... And each day that they are not in my possession, the more quickly they will develop into their cursed forms and leave the boundaries of those paintings." (Y/n) explained, "And Jin... he'll be the most vulnerable. He'll have nobody to teach him the ways of the world- he'll be without parents or a family... Nobody to look after him."
"That specific painting- Jim, as you call him...why do you worry over him for than the rest?" Uraume asked curiously, her eyes flickering to (Y/n) who hugged her knees at the top of the stairs, burrowing her face against her legs.

"Because he'll be the only one who is different- the only one born human. He'll be born with every emotion Sukuna was born with- like an identical twin. But instead of negative cursed energy, he'll be born with positive cursed energy, allowing him more emotional freedom than Sukuna had." (Y/n) explained, "He'll be born with incredible amounts of power and he'll have nobody to show him how to safely use it. Without that guidance- he could be at risk of becoming a second Sukuna- a reenactment of his younger years when he'd terrorised Japan." At that, Uraume chuckled, as if she were reminiscing.

"I see." Uraume nodded in understanding, "But it would take at least a few hundred years for these paintings to evolve into their true form, no?"
"Most likely. It scares me that I'll be long dead before that happens." (Y/n) admitted with a sad sigh.
"I doubt Lord Sukuna would allow that to happen." Uruame retorted casually, making the girl laugh.
"In case you have forgotten, Sukuna is also human." (Y/n) replied with an amused huff.
"That may be true now, but I'm sure eventually he'll accomplish his goal of becoming a curse." Uraume told the girl, making (Y/n)'s eyes widen.

She turned to Uraume with a shocked expression, goosebumps rising on her arms.
"A...what?" (Y/n) whispered out with shock. Uruame's eyes widened, as if in that point she knew she'd let out an important piece of information that she wasn't supposed to share with the girl.
"He wishes to become a curse... Has he never mentioned this?" The white haired woman questioned, making (Y/n) look down to her lap, shaking her head with surprise and confusion before saying,

"No... he's never told me."

(A.N ~ Fun fact, I've been writing my own novel for the past two years and I'm three chapters away from completing it.)
