(Y/n)'s Point Of View

"My Lord, you're back!" I smiled chipperly as I watched Sukuna enter the throne room casually. He'd only been gone for almost an hour but I knew it was for important business, especially since his cursed energy had risen, suggesting that he'd used his cursed technique on someone. I was glad he still remembered me after such an event, coming back to me just like he'd promised.

Sukuna raised his brow as he approached me, cocking his head.
"My Lord? What happened to calling me Sukuna, hm?" Sukuna asked me, making me pause. When did I call him by his name? And why hadn't he killed me for it? Unless, that's why he returned- to punish me for my actions.
"W-what?" I stammered out, an inkling of dread filling me. Did I ruin it? Did I anger him and ruin the foundation of the bond we'd built together?

"Oh, come on." Sukuna grinned as he kneeled to my height, squatting infront of me with amused eyes. "You were so brave about it earlier. What happened?"
I gulped, looking down at my lap with self-shame, disappointed.
"I had no idea. I apologise." I mumbled. If I called him by his name earlier, it was an accident. But I honestly wish it wasn't. Maybe I could have enjoyed saying it more if I had the actual intention to.

Sukuna chuckled, his laugh convincing me to look up at his aura, only to realised that he was not at all angry. That's when I realised that he hadn't been telling immediately after my slip up earlier. He hadn't promised me punishment after I called him by his name. Instead, he stayed silent about it until now. Even now, I didn't sense any bad intentions from him. But did that mean what I thought it meant?

"But, my lord, if you didn't correct or punish me...then was that direct permission to continue calling you by your first name?" I asked slowly, realisation catching up to me as I slowly lifted my head to look him in the eyes. Sukuna smirked, his eyes darkening.
"You tell me, brat." Sukuna smirked, "Are you brave enough to test it out?" At his challenge, my bright smile slowly slipped backs cross my features, mischief in my eyes.

"I think we both know that I am...Sukuna." I replied softly, his name feeling foreign off my lips yet glided off like honey down my tongue. I can't believe I had said Sukuna's name before so naturally without being able to appreciate it like this. It was tragic. Sukuna bursted out into loud laughter as he stood up, his aura bursting yellow with pride with hints of orange amusement.

He shook his head, amused, before turning on his heel, lifting his finger and becoming me to follow behind him.
"Come with me." He demanded, his smirk never leaving as he walked towards the open doors. I nodded eagerly as I stood up before reaching down to pack up my painting tools. I wouldn't want them just to be laying around Sukuna's thrown room as if I owned the place.

"Leave your tools." Sukuna then demanded, making me freeze mid-tidy. I pursed my lips with disappointment as I looked down at my messy set-up, sighing as I forced myself to leave it behind and hurry down the three steps to follow behind Sukuna who was already striding through the corridor. I struggled to keep up as he stormed through the temple, my feet looking pathetic as I scurried behind him.

He led me all the way through to the south wing and out the the back exit, until we were standing outside and heading towards a clearing among his gardens, where the floors were stone. I hadn't wondering this far before.
"This is my personal training grounds, where I practice new techniques." Sukuna announced, making my lips open in awe.

"I see." I mumbled quietly, looking around the clearing with fascination. I wonder if he was here during most of the times that I never saw him.
"Have you had a chance to read through the scroll that I gave you yet?" Sukuna asked me, turning around to face me. I looked up quickly, my neck snapping up in realisation.
