3rd Point Of View

"Where am I?!" Yanfei yelled across what seemed to him like an endless void. It was completely pitch back, and he couldn't see anything around him.
"(Y/n)! Where are you!?" He yelled out again, his voice breaking as he screamed into the void. (Y/n) sentenced him to this, he was fully aware. Was this what she called revenge? Would he be isolated in darkness for the rest of his life? Was that what this was? Yanfei then looked down at himself, only to realise that he was completely free. There were no longer any chains on him nor ropes binding him today. He was free.

"You've unchained me!" Yanfei laughed as he looked down at his free wrists, "Do you really expect me not to run?!" It was then that Yanfei tried to take a step forward, a grin across his lips as he spoke. But he couldn't move. His body wasn't listening to his mind. Now that he thought about it, he couldn't feel his fingers or his legs. His body felt numb.
"Why can't I move?" The man whispered to himself, repeatedly attempting to clench his fists only to be unsuccessful every time. His heart rate accelerated as he tried harder, becoming more and more panicked the longer he couldn't move.

"(Y/n), show yourself!" Yanfei yelled angrily, "Face me!" His anger increased to dangerous heights, but before he could scream his curses again, the floor he stood on suddenly lit up. Everything glowed gold, tracing bright symmetrical geometry across the ground, many little squares appearing until it almost looked like a board game. Yanfei gasped but was unable to flinch back. It was then that he noticed a bright spotlight at the end of the shogi board, highlighting a familiar girl's body who was staring straight at him with a expressionless face.
"(Y/n)?!" Yanfei called out with confusion, his eyes attpting to adjust to the sudden light. However, it didn't take long for his confusion to turn into anger.

"(Y/n), what is this?! Where have you taken me?" The ambassador seethed angrily through clenched teeth.
"This is my domain expansion." She finally answered, her tone soft and unwavering which angered Yanfei more. But before he could ask on his anger, he re-evaluated her words and realised what she'd said.
"Your domain expansion?" Yanfei echoed with pure shock, "You've mastered it?" Domain expansions took decades to master and some sorcerers couldn't ever master their domains at all- him admittedly being one of them.

"I believe so." She told him as she began walking closer to him, walking across the edge of the gameboard, stepping over the lines of golden light.
"If I actually managed to trap Sukuna here that one occasion, then I think that could it mean that this domain has been fully matured- even more so on it's second manifestation." (Y/n) told him. "Although, I guess the difference between Sukuna and you being here would be that I never had any intention to change him. You'll be the first man to experience my domain properly."

"What is this madness, (Y/n)?! Let me go this instant!" Yanfei yelled, making (Y/n) frown as she came closer, shaking her head in rejection.
"I can't yet- not until I know that you'll never hurt anyone ever again." (Y/n)'s eyes watered as she spoke, now standing at the edge of the board, not too close to Yanfei but close enough that she could see everything he done and every move he made.
"(Y/n)." Yanfei begged pleadingly, his eyes also watering- but unlike (Y/n), his tears threatened to spill on the account of fear.

"You may take a step forward." (Y/n) instructed, motioning towards the first tile that had glowed suddenly imfront of Yanfei. He didn't waste anytime in following her direction the moment he could feel his limbs again. A gasp of relief left him as he stepped forward, his body no longer numb- at least for those few seconds. But the moment he'd stepped on that tile, he'd lost all feeling again and was frozen once again but one step forward from his last position. He growled with anger as he realised his predicament, now attempting to move his body by force but all he could accomplish was straining his neck.

"What the hell!?" Yanfei growled as he thrashed his neck back and forth, continuously trying to move.
"What have you done to me? I could just move! Why can't I move anymore?!" He hissed, looking back up at (Y/n).
"Look beneath you." (Y/n) told him, using her head to motion towards the floor. Yanfei immediately lowered his head, his eyes falling upon the place where he was stood with furrowed brows. It was then that he noticed the spot he was standing on was different to the squares that surrounded him, his square holding the Chinese symbol for 'Start'.

"Is this...a game?" Yanfei asked, his question outloud and yet he was truly only asking himself this question.
"In a matter of speaking." (Y/n) replied. The process itself was a game indeed but the results were anything but a game.
"(Y/n)..." Yanfei whispered, fear now evident in his voice. "Stop playing with me." (Y/n) gritted her teeth as she started down at the floor, her fists tightly gripped.
"I do not play games with emotions." The girl replied, making him scoff loudly.

"Then tell me what this is?!" Yanfei yelled angrily, his eyes hinting towards the rest of the tiles that were currently hollow.
"Character development." (Y/n) replied, unable to look him in the eyes as she spoke. His eyes went as wide as saucers at her words, in complete disbelief.
"W-what?" He stammered out.
"After you've completed your time here, you'll be a changed man." (Y/n) told him softly, "You'll no longer be able to hurt anyone because you will no longer feel that sadistic need to."

"W-what? You...you can't do this to me!" Yanfei yelled out, his eyes bloodshot.
"If it is complaints that I am hearing right now, you should know that the alternative to her domain is death by my hands- and I'll be anything but merciful." A voice said with a wicked tone from behind (Y/n), making her turn around with a gasp only to see Sukuna standing with his hands clasped behind his back, leisurely walking forward until he was by (Y/n)'s side.

"Sukuna!" (Y/n) gasped, unaware that he was also in her domain- maybe she didn't have as much control over it as she thought if Sukuna was able to break in.
"Did you really think I'd miss the show?" Sukuna asked with a raised brow.
"I guess not." (Y/n) replied softly.
"Now, be a good girl and tell him what I said." Sukuna then whispered into her ear, making shivers travel down her spine. Only now she realised that Sukuna and Yanfei could not understand eachother- which for her it was so easy to switch between mandarin and Japanese that she didn't even notice she was doing it.

"I..." (Y/n) was unsure of how to reply, not sure how she could say something as threatening as that to Yanfei when she'd never spoke to him like that before.
"Tell him." Sukuna repeated, this time more firmly. (Y/n) bit the inside of her cheek before translating Sukuna's words, unable to look Yanfei in the eye as she spoke. The ambassador gulped with fear before nodding, seeming to give in the moment he saw the king of curses so close to him.

"And if I go through with this... I'll live? I'll go home in one piece?" Yanfei asked unsurely, making (Y/n) nod in confirmation.
"Fine. Then hurry this up." Yanfei whispered, putting in a brave face.
"Then you must begin by choosing your first tile." (Y/n) instructed, immediately making Yanfei confused.
"Tile? What tile?" The man echoed.

"Look at the ground infront of you. Pick a tile and step on it." (Y/n) instructed him, making his eyes lower to the ground only to gasp. Sukuna then walked up from behind the girl and wrapped his arm around her waist with a smirk.
"Move forward and you'll lose your ability to lust. Move to the left and you'll lose your ambition. Move to the right and you'll lose your ability to feel pleasure." (Y/n) then said with darkened eyes,

"Which do you chose?"
