3rd Point Of View

"I...I can't. I can't chose." A certain voice cried out, making Sukuna growl with annoyance. Sukuna took a stop forward, only for (Y/n) to grab him by the arm gently, holding him back. Despite not understanding his language, Sukuna could tell what he was complaining about by the fear plastered across his features.
"Move forward or I'll light a fire under your feet to encourage you to move. I don't have all day." Sukuna hissed towards the man, who had yet to move from his tile that said the word 'Start'.

"Tell him to put that fire away!" Yanfei yelled to (Y/n), motioning towards Sukuna with his horrified eyes. He had no idea what Sukuna had said to him but by the smirk across his lips and fire in his hands, he was sure it was some sort of threat. (Y/n) sighed, her eyes flickering between Yanfei and Sukuna. She, in all honesty, didn't know who to translate for.
"Pick a tile." (Y/n) insisted, decided not to translate for either of them. The sooner Yanfei completes her domain expansion, the sooner she can heal from her trauma.

Yanfei looked down at the three tiles with trepidation in his eyes. Lust. Ambition. Pleasure. Which could he live without? Which would he miss? Out of the three, the one he was certain that pleasure was the one he wanted to keep at all costs. The man gulped as he set his eyes on a tile, making his peace with it as he tried to step on it. He let out a small gasp when he realised that his body was able to move again, realising that it only allowed him to move if he had the intentions to step on a tile.

As he stepped on the tile that wrote 'ambition', he felt a shooting sensation of pain run through him, starting from the tip of his toes to his neck. The pain increased as he stepped on the tile with both feet. He cried out in pain as his body then froze on the tile, rendering him much like a statue as pain coarsed through his body. He bellowed out in pain, his skin turning red as he found it increasingly difficult to breathe.

'One by one, I will pit the other ambassadors against eachother. The emperor will see that I am the only one he can trust in due time.'

'I would make a great emperor of China, don't you think?'

'The more warehouses of slaves we have, the more men we are able to persuade to join us.'

"What is this??" Yanfei yelled through clenched teeth, tears running down his face as the pain sizzled through his skin.
"You are being purged from your ambition." (Y/n) replied softly, with brows furrowed. She knew it would be painful- be she hadn't realised it would be so painful to watch on her end, as if this weren't all hard enough.

"Don't you dare feel pity." Sukuna mumbled in her ear behind her, consolidating her worries as if he had somehow read her mind. "Watch him suffer and feast on it- like he had once done with your pain." At that reminder, (Y/n) forced herself to stand tall, watching Yanfei struggle until the pain finally subsided and his airways began to function normally again.

"You... you didn't tell me it would hurt!" Yanfei accused as his narrow eyes averted to ger, sweat trickling down his forehead as he gained the ability to think straight again, without pain clogging his thoughts.
"Evicting an entire emotion is a painful process." (Y/n) replied, his voice sounding knowledgeable when in all truth, she was only repeating what her mother had once shared with her about their united domain expansion.

"Just...tell me what's next." Yanfei spat, licking his lips as sweat trickled into them, making Sukuna grimace with disgust.
"Pleasure, Lust and Anger." (Y/n) recited, looking down at the newest three tiles that had lit up infront of him. Yanfei's brows rose with panic, looking down at the new tiles with a rising sense of terror.
"What?! But those are practically the same options?!" Yanfei exclaimed.
