"Where did you get it from?" she asked, eyeing the letter with confusion.

Gritting his teeth, he strode into her room. His shoulders rigid, his stance bore the intensity of an enraged predator ready to tear into his enemy. He was going to bury Austin alive.

She sighed as a crashing noise followed a moment later. She closed the door to keep the noise from waking other people and swiveled to find the tiny pieces of her pitcher scattered across the floor. He was standing over it, nostrils flaring, eyes seething. Careful to not tread on the broken pieces, she made her way towards him.

Without uttering a word, she grasped his fist and gently pried it open revealing a bleeding cut in the center of his palm. He wasn't only destructive but also self-destructive when furious. She raised her gaze to him, but he was too enraged to meet her eyes. With a heavy sigh, she took the letter from him, uncrumpled it, and held it over her head to level it with his eyes. His eyes narrowed in a slit.

"Look at the writing. Do you think it's written by an adult?" she questioned. His eyes narrowed even further. Now that she had brought his attention to it, Sin noticed that the writing was very childlike. He couldn't understand what to make of it.

"Austin is an 11-year-old kid," she revealed. before adding "now don't be jealous of a child." She wasn't ready for another jealousy fit of his.

His countenance didn't ease.

"He is still a boy, isn't he? Why is he writing you letters? It even smells of some cheap perfume. Does he not know you are married?" his eyes flashed to her wedding ring as he said the last part. She was wearing her wedding ring.

Confused, Nivi brought the letter to her nose and sniffed it. It indeed smelled of rose. The poor boy had really put in all his efforts. Before she could take another sniff, Sin snatched the letter from her and tore it into multiple pieces. She resisted expressing her disapproval.

"He knows I am married. I made sure he knows," she sighed again, finding his reaction over-exaggerated.

"Good. He should know better than to hit on his married teachers. And who writes such crap for a letter anyway," he responded, vexed. The fact that she had accepted their marriage eased his anger a bit.

"It's still better than the one you made me write," the words flew out of her mouth on their own. Her eyes grew wild as she realised she had actually spoken them out.

He was just as taken aback by her comeback. His countenance tightened, a hint of smirk playing over his lips as he recalled the day.

"I did that to tease you," he revealed, remembering how she had winced at every word, her fingers were trembling as if he was making her write her suicide letter. Realization dawned on her. She felt the temptation to bash him for this but held her tongue. She lowered her eyes, feeling angry.

"That wasn't very nice," she mumbled under her breath but he heard her. He lifted her chin to meet his eyes.

"Whatever happened in the past. Just know, I haven't touched other women since we found our way back to each other," he told her. He wanted her to know that in the same way she belonged to him, he belonged to her too. He didn't even think about other women, she was the sole owner of his heart, soul, and thoughts. She was enough for him, more than he could ever ask for. He knew he had made a very bad impression on her in the beginning. She must think of him as a womanizer. Well, he was a womanizer but not after her. This woman had altered him without him even realizing it.

 She was speechless.

He left after that and a minute later, a maid came in to clean the mess he had left behind.
