Five years had passed since Shen Yue Xia came into their lives, and their once quiet home was now filled with laughter, the echo of little feet, and the boundless joy of parenthood. Li Na watched her daughter play in the garden, her dark hair catching the sunlight in a way that reminded her of Shen Yun Tian. Yue Xia was a miniature version of her father, with his deep, soulful eyes and mischievous smile.

While Li Na adored seeing her family so happy, she couldn't help but feel a familiar, playful twinge of jealousy each evening when Shen Yun Tian returned home. Shen Yun Tian, who had barely stepped out of the car, was already smiling. His dark eyes softened as soon as Yue Xia launched herself into his arms. He spun her around, her giggles filling the air. "You're getting bigger every day, aren't you?" he said with a playful grin.

Watching them from the doorway, Li Na couldn't help but roll her eyes with a smile. Shen Yun Tian was undeniably hers, but sometimes she felt like Yue Xia had claimed him as her personal property. She approached them, folding her arms with a teasing pout. "So, I'm just invisible now? What happened to greeting your wife first?"

"My wife is always first in my heart," he replied, setting their daughter down with a kiss to her forehead. In one swift motion, he pulled Li Na into his arms, his lips brushing hers in a kiss that sent a familiar warmth through her.

But just as they shared that intimate moment, Yue Xia tugged at his sleeve again. "Daddy, don't kiss Mommy. Play with me!"

Li Na huffed, crossing her arms dramatically. "See? I can't get a moment with you. Ever since she learned how to talk, it's all 'Daddy, Daddy!'"

Shen Yun Tian chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "There's enough of me for both of you," he teased, scooping Yue Xia up again while keeping one arm around Li Na's waist. "But you know you'll always get the best of my attention."

Li Na tried to hold onto her pout, but she melted into his embrace as always. "Lucky for you, I love you too much to stay mad," she muttered.

Yue Xia, unwilling to let her parents have their moment, stuck her tongue out. "Daddy is mine, Mommy! All mine!"

Shen Yun Tian's laughter was rich and deep as he held his daughter close, but the way he looked at Li Na made it clear where his heart truly lay. "You two fight over me like I'm some prized possession," he joked.

With a playful sigh, Li Na gave in. "Well, maybe we'll just have to give Yue Xia someone else to focus on," she said, her voice soft but filled with a deeper meaning that made her heart race.

Later that night, as the house grew quiet and Yue Xia had finally fallen asleep, Li Na lingered by the window, thinking about the last five years. She adored their daughter, but the lighthearted competition for Shen Yun Tian's attention had been building. Yue Xia adored her father so much that sometimes Li Na felt like she had to wait her turn for his affections.

An idea had been growing in her mind for weeks now, and tonight, she decided to act on it.
