The next morning came and when I woke up, the breakfast and my morning tea were already prepared kaya ang ginawa ko nalang ay kumain habang naliligo si Wren.

When he was done, I followed and asked him to zip up my dress because I couldn't reach my back, then we already left.

He carried our luggage while I carried my smoothie and book—opening it upon riding his car so he'd have a sign to shut up dahil maaga palang at ayaw kong daldalin niya ako sa buong biyahe, but that didn't stop him.

"Pupunta lahat ng mga relatives namin," he informed—glancing at me to check my reaction.

"And?" I asked—eyes not leaving my book even though I wasn't reading.

"Ipapakilala kita." He got my attention so I closed my book.

"What would you tell them?"

"Na asawa k--"

"No." I cut him off.

"Ha? Bakit?" He glanced at me again—now with his brows furrowed.

"I don't want them to know," I told him and waited for his response even though it wouldn't really matter to me.

It took him a while but I patiently waited until he asked, "E, anong sasabihin ko sa kanila? Hindi naman na kita girlfriend."

Pressing my lips together, I shrugged because I also didn't know how he'd introduce me.

He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel and his lips twitched to the side—indicating that he was thinking hanggang sa lumiwanag 'yong mukha niya na parang nakaisip siya ng napakagandang idea.

"Ganito nalang, love," he started and I shifted on my seat to completely face him. "Kapag ipapakilala kita, ganito sasabihin ko," He cleared his throat and licked his lips. "Tita, Tito, si Loreen po, mahal ko."

Giggling, he fisted his hand and put it above his lips to bite while I shook my head and massaged the bridge of my nose.

I couldn't believe that I was still in this relationship at kung paano ko 'to natitiis when it felt like acid was rushing through my veins every time.

My husband was literally the cheesiest person to ever exist.

"Love, tanungin mo ako." He was grinning.

I glared at him. "Tanungin ng ano?"

"Itanong mo sa akin sino aking mahal. Itanong mo sa akin, sagot ko'y di magtatagal~" he sang. "Ikaw lang ang aking mahal. Ang pag-ibig mo'y aking kailangan~"

I tightly shut my eyes and harshly took a deep breath.

Kaya pala siya tahimik kaninang morning dahil nag-iisip siya ng ika-iinit ng ulo ko ngayon.

Aggressively flipping my book open, I put on earphones to block him out but I still heard him laugh before the music played.

I tried to focus on reading but I fell asleep and I just woke up when I sensed the car stopped.

I blinked my eyes and stared outside the window and realized that we'd already arrived in his province—Ilocos Norte.

Outside the window, I could see their vintage Spanish style mansion standing on hectares of land. It looked like a haunted house yet so elegant and beautiful.

There were also people running around to prepare for the celebration, which I assumed to be their house helpers that Wren told me about.

Pangalawang beses ko palang na pumunta rito including today, and the first time was already years ago.
