I was scrolling on my laptop here at the boutique when I noticed a car pull over in the front parking lot, and then my husband rushed outside to meet the person inside of it.
Kilala ko na agad kung sino 'yon dahil kilala ko 'yong sasakyan. A black Raptor pick-up truck. I even knew its name—Monsour.
It was gifted to Wolf by his parents when his brother and I were in high school, while he was in college because he was granted to skip a year because he was accelerated.
Inggit nga si Wren nun kaya noong graduation niya sa sumunod na taon ay binilihan na rin siya ng sarili ng sasakyan, which was the grey BMW X5 that we use up until now.
Yesterday was his graduation and everyone in his family attended. Umuwi rin si Wolf kaya nandito siya ngayon at kausap 'yang kambal niya sa labas ng boutique dahil pinilit siyang umuwi.
I saw their texts when Wren was begging him to come home, and it went like this:
Wren: Graduation ko. Umuwi ka.
Wolf: Can't.
Wren: Bakit? Hindi mo na siguro ako mahal. May bago ka na bang kambal jan?
Wolf: I wish. If it's possible to replace a twin brother biologically, I'll do it.
Wren: Napaka arte mo! Mag tagalog ka nga. Porket nasa US ka.
Wolf didn't reply. So 8 minutes later, Wren texted again.
And speaking about graduation and gifts...I never talked about what happened to us two nights ago at Martha's apartment.I wasn't avoiding the conversation pero hangga't sa hindi nabribring up ay hindi ako magsasalita dahil wala namang dapat na sabihin.
We're married. We had sex. End of the story.
I was expecting myself to regret it but when I woke up the next morning in our bedroom in the condo, I felt fine.
We talked and socialized with each other normally like we always does pero mas naging sweet siya sa akin—if that was even the word because I think it was beyond that kaya naiirita at nakukulitan na ako.
"Nag enroll ka na ba?" Thany asked—snatching me out of my thoughts and getting my eyes off the twins.
She and Danica were here at the boutique because I employed them to be the staffs dahil dumadami ang mga customers araw-araw, at ayoko rin na si Wren ang kasama ko rito dahil gusto ko siyang mag focus sa Deep Sea kagaya ng plano niya.
"What?" I asked Thany and blinked my eyes twice because I forgot what she said.
"Nag enroll ka na ba?" she repeated.
My brows furrowed. "Enroll for what?"
Her head tilted to the side as she looked at me with confusion. "For the next school year?"
I stared at her, and then I licked my lips. "I...maybe next week pagkabalik namin from Hongkong."
Wren and I decided to celebrate his graduation in Hongkong with my sisters dahil matagal ko na rin silang hindi nakikita dahil naging sobrang busy ako, at gusto ko ring icelebrate 'tong success ng Deep Blued because aside from it was a personal dream of mine, I was also motivated to pursue it because of them.
Actually, ngayon ang flight namin at aalis na rin kami maya-maya after kong tapusin lahat 'tong mga gawain ko ngayong araw.
Thany nodded, and then she followed my eyes because I was watching the twins again.
