Meetings here, meetings there.

I struggled to put my hands on everything at the same time, so I revised my schedule to fit all of my activities in 24 hours without missing anything and still doing my usual chores.

I officially hired Grandma Nina to be a part of my team as the dressmaker together with her two other granddaughters, and I was just waiting for them to finish sewing the samples of my sketches.

Sobrang excited at kinakabahan ako.

I was overwhelmed with different kinds of emotions that I couldn't put myself to sleep without being tired to my bones kaya sobrang productive ko tuwing umaga.

"I'm just going to imagine that this is pink," Keisha said as she dragged a paintbrush on the walls of my boutique.

She, Mika, Wren, and I agreed to paint the walls ourselves because they said they had nothing to do after school.

I took Wren's suggestion to paint it olive green.

"Do you already have a name in mind for this boutique?" Mika asked.

Putting down my roller brush, I faced her.

She was wearing an apron just like the rest of us, and the olive green stain on it was the only color in her whole body because she was wearing an all black outfit.

"I thought of naming it 'Chasing Blues', but Wren recommended something else." I looked at my husband who spun around when he heard his name.

"Maganda naman 'yong Chasing Blues, pero naisip ko maganda rin kapag 'Deep Blues', parang Deep Sea lang." He shrugged. "Pero nasa sa iyo parin, mahal ko. Ikaw bahala."

Mika's eyes went from him to me a couple of times, but at last, it stopped on me, and then she asked, "So, what are you going for?"

"I liked Deep Blues," I uttered, which earned a proud grin from my husband.

"Why? Any reason except for Wren recommending it?" Mika asked.

She had a lot of questions today but I'll entertain them anyways.

"I liked the word blues, and the color," I replied with a shrug.

"It tells a lot about you."

I sneered because blue means sadness and melancholy. "Coming from you?"
"Blue is not dark enough."

"What about 'Blue Silhouette'? It's pretty as well." Keisha butt in.

"Wag ka na nga, Glitters. Deep Blues na nga, diba?" Wren swiped paint on her cheek so she pushed him away, and then he muttered, "Ngayon na nga lang pinakinggan."

I shook my head. "I'm naming it Deep Blues," I said with finality, and then I heard my husband exclaim Yes! under his breath.

They continued painting while I stood up to look what I can further do because I was already done on my part of the wall.

Searching around, I observed.

We had already bought furniture and some appliances, and they were already perfectly put in their places.

The velvet blue couch was sitting in the reception area, the grandfather clock stood on the corner, while the empty golden racks were perfectly lined up in the middle part of the boutique.

I also ordered some mannequins that will arrive soon and I already have a space to place them.

It was perfect.

Kulang nalang 'yong mga paintings ko at 'yong mga ilang indoor plants.

Within just a month or two, everything will be ready and I was so excited yet anxious about it.
