I didn't like surprises but because of him, I learned to.

He was always extra kaya minsan ay naiirita na ako dahil masyado siyang OA.

"Pikit ka, love," he told me when we got out of the elevator.

"Ayoko." I walked past him and strode my way toward his unit but before I could press the passcode to open the door, nakahabol na siya at hinila ako.

"Sige na, love. Ang KJ naman nito." He went in front of me para takpan 'yong pinto.

"This better be good," I warned as he covered my eyes with his palms.

As soon as the door opened, I quickly smelled something wasn't right. The lemon scented air freshener and disinfectant spray were replaced by something else that I couldn't figure out.

"Okay. 1, 2, 3... Surprise!"

Taking off his hands, I blinked my eyes a couple of times to adjust at napanganga noong masilayan ko ang paligid.

"Wren...what.." I couldn't talk properly because I couldn't figure out my emotions and I didn't understand why he did this.

"Surprise ko sayo. Ayoko kasing nasisikipan ka." He shrugged his shoulders and wrapped an arm around mine, habang sabay naming pinagmamasdan ang paligid condo niya because he renovated it.

His condo was never tight pero mas malawak na ito ngayon.

"Pinagawa mo 'to nang isang linggo?" I asked in awe because I couldn't believe it.

"Oo," he shortly answered.

"How about the doors? What are those? Paano mo..." I couldn't construct a whole sentence but he understood it.

He clasped our hands together and carefully pulled me until we reached one of the new rooms.

"Binili ko 'yong kabilang unit tapos pinagdugtong ko lang dito," he explained as he opened the door. "Itong kwarto na 'to ang magiging dance studio mo."

My jaw dropped because of what he said, especially when I got a sight of what was inside the room.

The walls were attached with mirrors, the floor was made of shiny wood, the lights were perfectly bright, and the walls were painted in the most comforting blue.

He chuckled and tugged my hand again para makapunta kami roon sa kwartong sinasabi niya.

At hindi nga siya nagbibiro dahil nandito lahat 'yong mga instruments ko from my ukulele, guitar, piano, violin, and drums.

I didn't even care how he managed to get all of these dahil ang mahalaga sa akin ngayon ay nasa akin na ulit sila.
