Tagaktak ang pawis ni Lani at Lori, so I told them to take a shower dahil may dala naman silang damit.

It was already late so they'll spend the night here, and I already texted our mother about it, who agreed and thanked me.

They were listening closely to him so I eavesdropped and found out that he was teaching them math.

"That's wrong," I told them as I sat with them.

"Ha? Paanong naging mali?" He put down the notebook.

I picked it up and grimaced even more. "Ang layo ng sagot mo, Wren. It's 1.75, not 254."

He frowned. "Ha? Patingin nga."

Binawi niya sa akin 'yong notebook at tinitigang mabuti 'yong sagot niya.

I crossed my arms. "Naibagsak mo 'yang subject na 'yan dati."

"Bobo siya, Ate?" Lori innocently asked.

"Who taught you that word?"

Wren dramatically gasped and placed his palm above his chest. "Grabe 'yon."

"Don't call someone that word, Lori. It's bad." I shook my head.

"And your Kuya Wren is not bobo." I pressed lips together as I glanced at my husband, who seemed to be proud of what I said because he was nodding with his chin up. "He's just...just..."

His brows furrowed because I couldn't find my words.

"Just? Ano, love?" He crossed his arms.

"He's just not good at math. Pero mabait naman siya, diba?" I took my attention back to my sisters, who nodded their heads.

"Tapos pogi," Wren added and they nodded again, kaya napangisi siya at nakipag high five pa sa kanila.

I playfully rolled my eyes before I picked up a pencil para itoture sila.

"Listen now," I told them seriously kaya nag seryoso na rin sila at umayos ng umupo.

I explained how I got the answer step by step in the most simplest way possible to make sure they'll understand.

"I get it now," ani naman ni Lani na siyang may assignment dito sa sinosolve namin.

"Let's go. Matulog na kayo," I told them and held their hands to help them get up.
