Chapter 47: Reunite With Me

As Sonic and Sails walk around Miami, Sonic continues to explain his roster of foxes to Sails. Tails who was probably smarter than Einstein, Nine who was as cruel as he was clever, and Mangey who was like an innocent puppy dog... Sails recognised two of them but didn't who recognise Tails was.

"Tails?" Sails says, in complete and utter confusion.

"Mhm... Just replace the S in your name with a T. That's basically who he is" Sonic explains.

"Oh... Does he have two tails like me?" Sails asks.

"Ohhh definitely, they all have two tails! You won't feel out of place at all, don't worry!" Sonic reassures him.

"I hope you're right" Sails responds, grabbing hold of Sonic's waist.

"I'm never really wrong" Sonic says back throwing his hands up in the air.

"One reason I fell in love with the Sonic I met is because he wasn't perfect, you don't have to be perfect ya know" Sails says back, he damp tails wagging excitedly.

"Uh huh" Sonic responds, blushing slightly.

Sails catches him blushing and uses that oppertunity to start poking at him, "Cheeks getting a little rose coloured I see"

"What?! Pffft, no!" Sonic responds, looking away from Sails.

"Aw come on, I know you're adorable, you don't need to hide your blushing face from me" Sails teases, moving closer to try and see Sonic's blushing face.

"Ugh, quit it!" Sonic says, practically able to feel the flirtatious little fox pirate on him.

"He used to try and cover his face sometimes too" Sails says, giggling at the memories he had of the playful moments he had with his Sonic.

"Wow, you'd really pick on someone who you love?"

"When I feel like messin about" Sails says,

Sails grabs hold on Sonic's face bringing it level to his, the hedgehog can feel his face heat up like a volcano. All Sonic can see is sky blue for a second, they all had sky blue eyes but Sails looked especially pure, like an uncut gem.

"Wanna know somethin I really want right now" Sails says, kissing Sonic seductively.

"What?" Sonic says, his eyes unable to move off Sails, his quickened heartbeat making his body twitch.

"Beer" Sails says,

Sonic stares at him in disbelief, all that tension between them, just for the fox boy to want alcohol, needless to say he was annoyed that he got worked up for no reason. He grabs Sails by the cheeks and starts squeezing making him shout and wave his arms around.

"What is wrong with you?" Sonic says, with a grin masking his aggravation.

"Mwy aprologies vlue!... Jwust wet grow of me frace" Sails says as Sonic pulls on his face.

Sonic eventually lets go of his face and sighs while shaking his head, Sails blushes and giggles no doubt remembering when his own Sonic used to do the same thing whenever he somehow managed to annoy him.

"It's too early for beer, what else can we get you maybe!" Sonic asks, as he looks around.

The hedgehog spots a deli and smirks, "How about a sandwich?"

Sails smiles at the idea and follows Sonic to the deli. When Sonic gets inside the first thing he sees are rows of packaged foods, the cashier tending to a customer, the bright colours catch Sails attention particularly a small pack of Starbursts and Skittles which he takes and shows to Sonic.
