it was hard not to imagine we didn't have a life together. it's not that i expected it, it's just i sometimes choose to reily on my imagination for some sort of comfort in the insanity im living. it's harmless daydreams, of us working out and having amazing sex like we just did and her being a good role model to my child as well.

i wouldn't admit it to anyone of course, they'd think i was crazy, thinking about that after just a one night stand. they wouldn't get that it wasn't supposed to be real, it was only meant to make me feel sane for a moment. although thinking more about it makes me feel insane...

"you are not taking an uber at this hour." she told me, "i'm driving you."

"it's alright, i've already ordered it. the car is on its way." i told her.

"cancel it, right now." she told me.

it really is a shame that she won't be here a while. i could get used to her sweet taste, her icy eyes and electric personality. having her around might've... distressed a lot of stressful situations i might've found myself in.

"it's canceled." i told her.

"don't you want to at least dry your hair before leaving?" she smiled.

"i really should go." i shook my head. "besides your hair is wet too."

"i don't care if i get sick, you have a hole human to take of." she replied.

"i'll be fine, you have a flight to catch soon. you can't afford getting sick either." i have her a look.

"i'll just leave the car heater on." she said. "ready?"

"yeah."

"you know what i realized?" she said as she open the car door for me. "i don't have your number." she got into the drivers seat and looked at me with glistening hopeful eyes.

"why do you want you number? wasn't this supposed to be a one night thing?" i raised a brow with a slight smirk.

"well... maybe we'll both be at the same place, at the same time some day again. it would be a crime not to have your number blaze, do you want me to not be a law abiding citizen?" she replied.

"blaze." i blinked once.

"hazel eyes, red hair, firey temper, yet autumny. blaze." she simply answered.

"okay." i giggled. "put your number in and ill think about it."

"new york." she said as she was typing in her number. "that's where i'm moving for a while."

"how convenient." i gave her a look. "i have a planned trip there in a few weeks."

"oh... define a few weeks."

"let's leave that as a mystery for now."

"ooo a blazing mystery." she made me giggle.

"drive, i gotta make it soon or ill have to pay my dula overtime." i shook my head.

"i'll pay her for you if it comes to that." she told me. "relax."
