"how come finneas didn't come pick me up?" i asked. "if he missed me soooo much you had to bring me here first and then drive me home?"

"couldn't just act the least bit oblivious?" she rolled her eyes and opened the door to reveal a shit ton of people yelling "welcome back!".

"mama." i hugged my mommy and then my dad and then finneas and then someone else and another and another until i spotted her. smiling, looking at me from the very back of the room.

"the fuck are you doing standing there?" i laughed. "get over here!"

"i didn't want to intrude!" she smiled and fell into my arms.

"you know i was looking for you between all those people." i told her. "you smell good, i smell like a plane."

"you smell amazing bil, shut up." she rubbed my back before pulling away. "it's so good to see you."

"you shush, i missed you."

"more than you missed me!" honey interrupted us. "shit, sorry is that?— your blaze? right?" she looked between the both of us for confirmation.

"honey?" blaze frowned.

"ahhhh!!! finally!" honey started jumping up and down grabbing blaze's arms.

"glad to see that you're just as excited to meet me as i am to meet you." blaze giggled, holding onto honey's hands.

"so we're fucked." raymond walked up to us.

"nah we just have to not fuck it up." i whispered.

"if you two are gonna be whispering secrets now, i have some really good ones to share with red." honey turned towards us.

"wait no." i stopped her. "we were just happy to see you get along." i told them. "right raymond?"

"yes." raymond nodded understanding the grave danger we were in. honey knew a lot of stuff that blaze didn't have a clue about.

"look at their faces." honey let out a low pitched laugh. "are we going to be able to talk unattended?" she raised her brows.

"honey i think billie and delilah need to catch up first no?" raymond told her.

"no, now that she's here. she's not going anywhere, is she?" delilah gave me a look.

"no she's not." i shook my head.

"good." she bit her lip. "nice to finally meet you raymond." she turned to honey, "come on, tell me." both girls walked away.

"if you're gonna be with her are you going to be a mom?" raymond asked out of nowhere.

"keep your voice down!" i smacked his head. "no, i don't know... i want her."

"she's a package and i don't think she comes with only a daughter." he told me. "you'll be turning your life around, with her daughter's best friend, an ex wife, ex wife's girlfriend. i just want to make sure that you know what you're putting yourself up for."
