yesterday was my birthday, i spent it at home. cause all i really wanted was to have a good time with the people that i loved and that was that. luna came over before lunch and we all were outside all day, blasting music, dancing with the girls, eating too much sugar and fast food. billie kept apologizing for not being able to be there due to work commitments, but we knew she wouldn't be able to be with me a while back and i was okay with it.

tonight though, she's taking me out and im staying over at hers after. "you're so beautiful." she had both her hands extended for me to take, once i did she twirled me around to show off my dress. "you made it didn't you?" she smiled.

"yeah." i cheekily smiled. "don't you love the purple with the black? elle helped me out with the color matching." i looked down at the dress.

"i love it." still had that same smile. "you're so beautiful blaze." she kept on complimenting.

"thank you billie." butterflies fluttered in my stomach and my cheeks were hot. "you have the star grillz on." i noticed.

"you like em, it's your birthday date." she shrugged. "i'm so excited to show you everything!" she squealed and dragged me to her car. she's so lucky i have mastered the art of running in heels.

she opened the door for me, buckled me in once i was sitting and then she ran over to the other side and joined me. "put on your music." she gave me the aux cord.

"mmm, but i like your playlists." i took the cord anyway.

"i know, i save all of the songs i know you like in a playlist just for you." she pressed on the gas.

"you what?" i smiled, realizing what she just admitted.

"when you vibe with a song on a playlist of mine i just keep a little mental note for later." she replied.

"you're so cute!"

"don't make me regret telling you that." she rolled her eyes.

"here, this is my favorite song. keep a mental note of this." i giggled, cause i had put on the sponge bob theme song. "i vibe with this, a have whole playlist that just consists of theme songs."

"oh i vibe with the detective conan theme song." she widened her eyes and then we both started singing along to the sponge bob theme song. "this one is for you." i put on the case closed theme song.

after that i was serious and actually put on some songs from my favorite playlist, before i explained to her that the theme songs were for long drives with the girls and i actually do enjoy them.

it turned out that the drive was a longer drive from my house but she assured me that it'll be shorter on the way back. i didn't care, as long as i was spending time with her i was content. i wanted to tell her that i was ready, but i wasn't sure if i wanted to make it a big deal, or just tell her. just like that.

"where'd you go?" she softly asked.

"nowhere, i'm here." i took her hand. "i just love it when im the passenger princess, looking out the window and spacing out."

"late night drives in particular." she nodded, keeping her eyes on the road. "we're almost there." she said after a moment of silence.

"if we stayed in this car together, just driving forever i wouldn't even mind it." i told her.

i don't know what we're doing, we act like we're together. we know it's going to happen but there isn't a real label. i know that the purpose is to wait till im ready, but i am. i want her to be mine, i want be able to call her my girlfriend and feel entitled to be jealous when someone is close to her, i want to be able to kiss her as much as id like and cuddle with her to sleep for as many nights as possible.
