"good work everyone, i think we're done here." i sighed in relief. "any questions or remarks? say it now before it's too late, remember we have another meeting with our client in a few hours."

"alright then, you're free to leave." chloe told the team when no one had any comments. "i feel good about this." she smiled.

"i do too." i smiled back, wide. "do you want to get lunch before the meeting? since we've been productive, we deserve it."

"yeah, why not." she shrugged.

"where are you two running off to?" oliver said when we were waiting for the elevator to open up.

"we're getting some lunch before the second meeting, you can join if you want to." i replied.

"ahh, unfortunately i need to keep the zoo in order cause apparently someone screwed up the paperwork and mixed up between two clients, thank god i noticed it before it was too late. you two have fun though." she replied.

"alright then, we'll see you in the meeting. promise we'll be back." i winked.

"i'll kill you if you're late." she pointed at us. "kidding i know you won't pull something like that." she said as the door closed.

chloe and i opted for the usual place we go to, ordering our usual and enjoyed our time together. when we got dessert, which isn't a usual occurrence when the girls aren't here, i got another one to go for billie and raymond. chlo tried to tease me about it, i didn't care, but i guess the color of my cheeks said otherwise.

we split the bill, and then we headed back to the office and started preparing for the meeting. checking on the room and making sure the name tags on the table were in the correct order. chloe and i went over the most important aspects of the meeting and practiced our convincing skills on the ideas we thought would need a little push to be approved of.

one of the interns informed us that the clients had arrived and were coming up the elevator half an hour later. the whole team was in the meeting room at that point. chloe and i waited by the door to greet them.

billie's manager was the first to be there and we shook hands, then the actors, other members and raymond and billie were to last in the bunch. "hey you." i smiled hugging raymond.

"hey!" he replied, but then whispered to me, "she's having a bad day, don't take it personally."

i frowned before i saw her but my frown deepened when i did. "hey, bil." i softly smiled and she smiled back and hugged me as well. "what's wrong?" i asked as she melted into my hold. i didn't get a response, "it's okay, you don't have to tell me. come on, they're waiting on us." i rubbed her back and we both walked in.

the meeting was about an hour and a half, we went over every detail, fought for the ideas they weren't sure about. explained the things that weren't clear to them and by the end of it, we announced that we'll send the schedules at the end of the week. it was a successfully fulfilling meeting cause everyone was so open to our plan, it was honestly refreshing.

billie was professional the whole time, but i knew that something was wrong and i was trying so hard to read her but i couldn't get distracted too much. once the meeting was done and everyone had small talk with each other, the room was left with only raymond, billie and i. just like the last time.

"chloe and i went to get some lunch before the meeting, i think i have something that'll make you feel a little bit better." i told her taking her hand and leading her to the office. chloe was nowhere to be seen, raymond had told us he'll wait by the elevator. "i got that for you and raymond." i gave her the slice of chocolate cake i had bought. "you can have all of it on your own now."
