"good morning." i walked into my office, juniper behind me.

"ahh! my work buddy! i missed you." chloe smiled. "and my tiny work buddy too!"

"oli!" juniper giggled, walking over to her.

"i missed you too chlo." i smiled back. she got up and hugged juniper and then looked at me. "yes you can have a hug." i sighed.

"yes!" she giggled and skipped her way to me. "are you excited? it's been so long since we had an anonymous client to pitch us their work! and it's been so long since we worked together!"

"i am." i giggled. "i can't wait till i fight you to determine who's idea is better."

"i made sure we were seated next to each other." she told me. "oh and i got a you coffee." she walked to her desk and walked back to me with the cup.

"you sure you didn't poison it so you'd get this project alone?" i raised a brow.

"i could never." she acted fake offended.

"thank you." i took a sip from the cup and walked to my desk in order to put my stuff down.

i went to go see oliver before i appointed a coworker i trust to look over juni then i went into the meeting room and i was flabbergasted when i saw billie and raymond walk in a few minutes after me. "what are you doing here?" i frowned.

"uhh— i don't know... matt our manager booked this, i didn't realize." billie looked just as confused as i was.

i looked at raymond for confirmation and he also looked confused. "okay, well i guess if this goes well, we will end up working together." i chuckled, still not wrapping my head around the fact.

i hugged billie and raymond which is when oliver walked in. "what's going on?"

"oh, they're my friends." i looked at billie to tell her that i had to say that but i didn't think that, she smiled at me, understanding.

"you brought them here?"

"no, it's a total coincidence." i shook my head.

"i brought them here." their manager popped into the conversation.

"okay, i'm glad delilah has background on this." oliver nodded. "i think everyone is here, so we should get started." she said.

everybody took their seats and i couldn't stop smiling and trying to hide the smile. i was grateful that my first project could potentially be with my friends, i was nervous and a little bit anxious coming in here. which i am never when it comes to my work because i know how good i am. it's the reason juniper is here today, i needed her, so when i saw their faces all of my concerns flew away.

we were given a few snippets of the movie, the final script with the changes made. billie and raymond explained their process and actors shared a little bit of their experience. their manager explained what they were hoping we would bring onto the table. i listened attentively and took notes on what was said and wrote down ideas that popped in my head immediately.

it was clear that everyone involved in this movie has put in their all and they took so much pride in their work. so i wanted to do them justice.
