billie

"you know what's great?" i asked.

"what?" she responded, under my sheets, laying on her stomach.

"we never technically slept so it kind of is a win for me. you don't have to tackle me for trying to brush my teeth, cause i don't feel the itching need to." she told me.

"that is disgusting billie."

"oh shut up." i rolled my eyes.

"you know... i forgot that i said that so if you went to brush em i wouldn't have blinked twice." she told me.

"can i go brush my teeth then? please?"

"no." she replied. "don't you dare."

"you can't tackle me." i traced different shapes onto her back, connecting freckle to freckle.

"i have a magic trick to show you." she got all giggly. "look, look."

"i didn't know you were a magician."

"look at my nails." she showed me her freshly painted nails, i frowned knowing that she know that i have already seen them. "and....." she hid them from me for a second before showing them to me again. "im a genius." her index and middle finger, both had short nails again. "i didn't know i was ready but i just thought in case." she gave me the two fake nails.

"are these a gift for me?" i pouted, putting them on my bed side table.

"so if i can't tackle you..." she shrugged.

"i don't know if that is a threat or inevitable." i replied.

"im hungry." she rested her head on the pillow.

"want me to make you breakfast?"

"please." she murmured.

"okay." i kissed her head and walked into the bathroom.

"DONT!" she yelled at me.

"i wasn't going to!" i responded. i washed my face, did a summary of my skin care and walked into the kitchen to make breakfast in bed. "blaze!"

"no need to scream, i'm right here." she softly giggled, hugging me from the back.

"this was supposed to be breakfast in bed." i sighed.

"im sorry, too hungry. whatever food is left we can take it to bed and eat there." she kissed my cheek, before walking over to my fridge.

"are you trying to kill me?" she was walking around my apartment only in her lingerie and her red hair as her oh so alluring coat.

"what?" she fluttered her lashes innocently at me.

"you are— you-." i couldn't get my words out right.

"you still didn't get enough of me? you've seen me with less clothing, just a few minutes ago." she grabbed the strawberries from the fridge. she stopped, completely paused for a second, "kiss me." and who am i to deny her a kiss? and so i did, even if she repaid me with a slap on my chest. "you brushed your teeth!" she looked at me like i just betrayed her.

"i didn't! i chewed gum." i explained.

"billie. it's the same thing." she sighed in disappointment and went to wash the strawberries.

"i'm sorry." i tucked her hair behind her ear. "why does it matter if i brush my teeth?" i tilted my head to find hers. "you should be happy that i have good hygiene."

"cause i want you to know that i love you no matter how stinky you are." she mumbled, not meeting my eyes. "that i love you no matter what."

"lilah." i lifted her chin so she'd look at me.
