"can i have juniper tomorrow?" luna asked.

"on valentine's day?" i frowned. "don't you have a date or something?" i took a bite from the chocolates that had arrived a day earlier from billie.

"my date is juniper." she simply replied.

"when do you want her?" i asked. chloe was walking by and i called her over and pointed at the chocolates.

"uh i can pick her up from daycare and drop her off two, three hours later? i want to take her to the glow garden that opened a few months ago." she told me.

"wouldn't you have a better time if it was around sunset?" i asked, chloe invited herself to my cubicle.

"they have activities for little children for valentine's day, by the time we're done with that, the sun would have started setting." she replied.

"alright, ill call the day care tomorrow and tell them that you're picking juni up." i nodded.

"thank you delilah." she said.

"make sure to feed her or she'll get cranky." i told her before hanging up.

"luna taking juni tomorrow?" chloe asked.

"yeah." i nodded.

"that's good!" she raised her brows.

"yeah, i just wish we didn't have to go through all of that before she finally realized what was important." i told her.

"don't think about that." she shook her head. "just hope that she stays that way."

"juni is making it hard for her, but she high key deserves it." i giggled. "the last time they were together apparently luna asked her what the name of her teddy was she guessed wrong, jumper told her yoyo was sad because he was always her friend. and one of the girls at day care told me juni asked her if she was her friday patient. they had just learned the days of the week."

"friday parent." she snorted. "she's going to be a pain in your ass when she's older."

"i can't wait." i turned back to my computer.

"almost done with the book?" she asked.

"nowhere near done." i shook my head.

"you two, get up and follow me." oliver walked over to us.

"damn no good morning no hello?" i got up and we followed her.

"you can share this office, lewis you can install a curtain between the both of you if you get tired of this one." she took us to the biggest office in the floor.

"i call dibs on the furthest desk inside." i said.

"are you installing a curtain?" chlo asked.

"no, it'll look cheap."

"is she serious? since when did she like you?" oliver frowned.

"i've always liked her." i rolled my eyes.

"no you didn't." oliver deepended her frown.

"she has always liked me, why do you think she hasn't reported me to hr yet?" chloe told our boss. "she let me hug her at her christmas gathering." she not so quietly whispered.
