My new song was receiving a lot of views and comments - a lot of them showing a lot of love and support for my return into the music world, and it felt really good to get that validation since I had gone so long without singing a single lyric.
Today was a new day for me, and I was both excited and terrified. I was about to do my first ever interview/podcast! As far as I knew, this was a podcast that would mainly be about horses and music. It was scheduled for eleven a.m., and after that, I would have to come home and pack for our upcoming trip to Oklahoma for our new investigation: The Stone Lion Inn.
Once I gave Zak a deep kiss goodbye, I made my way to the listed address to where I was meeting the woman hosting the interview, parking my car in the parking garage before heading to the office building that the host rented out for her podcast.
"Oh, my God! Tori! It's so nice to see you!" The woman exclaimed, smiling at me as she greeted me with a hug.
"Wait a minute, didn't you and I meet yesterday?" I laughed. "At the nail salon?"
"Sure did!"
"Wow! Small world! I had no idea you had a podcast!"
"Well, it's because I didn't mention it," Tish giggled. "I'm so happy you're here! You can sit your bag down in that seat there and I have a coffee bar over there!" She pointed.
"Oh, wow. Thank you so much! Thank you for this opportunity. This is my first ever interview."
"Don't be nervous. Just think of it as we're just two girls giggling and gossiping!"
"I'll try to!" I laughed, making myself a hot coffee before sitting down at her desk, facing my microphone and looking directly across from Tish as she too made her own coffee.
"Alright, you ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be!"
"Alright, mics are on and we're filming now!" She smiled at me, opening her binder and setting it to the side. "Hey, you guys, it's Tish with the LV Baddies Podcast where I talk to some of the baddies here in Las Vegas, and today, I have the pleasure of talking to Miss Victoria Mackey. She is the lead singer of her band Dorothy and an investigator on the popular show, GhostAdventures. Tori, thank you for being here, first of all."
"Thank you for having me. I'm nervous, but excited!"
"I want to start off by saying that I watched your new video of a new song you posted, and I am absolutely blown away by not only your voice, but the fact that you're not crazy famous by now."
I blushed, "Thank you. I actually sing and write music as a hobby. I don't rely solely on music as an income."
"Have you had any producers asking you about a record deal?"
