Author Note: Just a warning, this chapter is a little scary. I promise this isn't the end, just be sure to read VERY carefully.

Chapter 28- Fall For You

I wasn’t positive of the time, but I knew one thing: last night had been the best night of my existance.

My eyes stayed shut, but the open doors poured sunlight into our room, even though the slight breeze was a nice contrast, it baked me.

I groaned as I rubbed my shut eyelids, in attempt to un-blind myself. My eyes flew open.

I looked to the right, Keene’s arm was wrapped around me. We were both wrapped in the sheets. I looked to the left. I saw Keene staring at me, his eyes full of concern.

His fingers trailed slowly down the contours of my spine. “Good morning.” He smiled.

My hand was placed over his heart and my ear rested against his bare chest.

“Morning.” I beamed. He kissed the top of my head.

He layed there with me, tracing patterns on the skin on my back.

I fondled his fingers on his free hand.

“Last night…” I began, “was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.”

“Gee, thanks.” He scoffed jokingly.

I propped myself up on my elbow.

“Hey, I didn’t mean it like that.” I said defensivley. “All I’m saying is that I thought there’d be a lot more… akwardness.”

He looked at me. “It was… amazing.” He interjected.

I bit my lip and took a quick breath. I stared at him for a minute.

“Have I ever told you how much I love you?” I ask.

He raised his left hand up and pointed to his wedding ring, “Yeah.”

He dropped his hand. “You hungry?” He asks.

“Have you just met me?” I counter. He chuckles, “I’ll make you something.”

He kissed my cheek as he stood up and went into the next room.

I put my arms behind my head as I sighed happily to myself.

I draped my unclothed body with the sheet and climbed out of bed.

I leaned up against the door frame and stared out into the sunlight. Last night had made me view everything in a whole different way, whether it was Keene, the sky, or even myself… it was changed.

I showered, dressed myself in a strapless floral, mini dress, brushed my hair and teeth, and then put my makeup on. I knew at least an hour had gone by when I finished.

I practically twirled into the kitchen. Keene was sitting at the table, eating some pancakes; he had dressed himself and showered as well. Across from him was another plate topped with breakfast and a glass of milk waiting for me.

I kissed his cheek as I approached the table. “Hey.” He greeted.

I put his face in my hands, and turned his head to me.

“What?” He asked, his brilliant teeth sparkling.

I pressed my mouth to him, his lips moved with mine. I parted from him and sat down in my seat.

Keene stared at me, his mouth wide open. I stared at my plate, but when his stare became to much, I looked up at him.

“What?” I smiled with fake innocence.
