Unaware of Ye Wenxin's presence, Zhao Teddy entered a cavern, smugly admiring the treasures within.

"Good thing I shook off Ye Liangchen. I knew you were up to no good, trying to steal my fortune! When I make it big, I'll take your women..." Zhao Teddy muttered, not realizing that while he was plotting against Ye Wenxin, she had already cursed his ancestors a hundred and eight times.

Ye Wenxin paused, thinking she'd been discovered until she heard the rest of Zhao Teddy's rant, which made her laugh. Even though they were both from Earth, not everyone was good-hearted.

Few were willing to be villains like Ye Wenxin, but naturally malicious people like Zhao Teddy were common.

The temptations in this other world were numerous, and paths often diverged.

Ye Wenxin felt no sympathy, hiding her thoughts as she watched Zhao Teddy deftly navigate traps and evade hidden weapons.

Zhao Teddy was well-concealed; without following him, Ye Wenxin wouldn't have guessed his tomb-robbing prowess. Much like Ye Wenxin hid her cultivation and tactics, Zhao Teddy concealed some of his abilities.

"If I hadn't greedily dug up that tomb, I wouldn't be in this mess," Zhao Teddy mused, making Ye Wenxin suspect he was a tomb raider back on Earth.

Even Ye Wenxin couldn't navigate all the traps as easily, yet Zhao Teddy seemed to know exactly what to do.

After a while, Zhao Teddy reached the main hall.

In the hall stood a golden nine-headed serpent statue.

"Think you're an Orochi, huh?" Zhao Teddy looked up at the nine-headed serpent, recalling a similar game creature. Ye Wenxin felt a strange familiarity but remained cautious.

The room seemed empty, yet danger lingered. The serpent appeared almost alive.

Though Ye Wenxin was the world's number one, this serpent didn't seem of this world.

Legends said that the Cangyu Sect's founder ascended to immortality, entering the celestial realm.

Ye Wenxin was skeptical of such legends, like those ancient manuals claiming unimaginable power. Perhaps Asura Hall's opportunity was linked to this so-called celestial realm.

Patiently, Ye Wenxin waited for Zhao Teddy to trigger the opportunity. He flitted about, gathering treasures but not uncovering the real prize. Ye Wenxin didn't interfere, knowing Zhao Teddy was dull-witted, waiting for a sudden breakthrough.

An hour, then two passed, daylight breaking outside. If Liu Yansheng were caught, she'd be in dire straits. Ye Wenxin, still nominally part of Asura Hall, knew her late return would raise suspicions with Senior Sister Qian Bingxue.

Even Liu Yansheng's demise could be blamed on her.

After weighing her options, she decided to focus on the opportunity.

This was Asura Hall's chance, possibly the key to controlling her Ice Physique. Weighing the pros and cons, Ye Wenxin stayed put...

Three hours passed, Zhao Teddy, sleepless, searched everywhere, even chanting "Open Sesame," but the hall remained unresponsive. Frustrated, he kicked the serpent statue, causing it to tremble, revealing the chests it held.
