"Master... wait..." Ye Wenxin tried to stop the Sect Master, but he was already soaring into the sky. Helpless, she could only hope that the beautiful mute would be fortunate enough to succeed in her tribulation before the Sect Master arrived.

Though such a feat seemed nearly impossible, the beautiful mute's chances looked grim.

Blame could only be placed on the mute for choosing to undergo tribulation on another's territory, and on Ye Wenxin herself for losing her cultivation as a Demon Lord, leaving her to sip tea and watch the drama unfold.

"Ga ga ga..." Ye Wenxin heard the familiar loud caw of the crow. Just as she wondered if she was hallucinating, a shadow descended from the sky.

"Miss Wenxin, run!" Someone noticed the massive creature and warned Ye Wenxin, who was still calmly drinking tea.

She reacted, but the crow was faster, grabbing her and lifting her into the air.

"Beast, put her down!" Long Qing'er drew her sword to pursue, but the crow flew away swiftly.

As the ground shrank beneath her, Ye Wenxin glanced at the crow holding her. It didn't seem malicious, yet it wasn't simply playing around either.

"Crow brother, shouldn't you be guarding your master during the tribulation? Why are you here?" The crow remained silent, flying quickly toward the back mountain.

Ye Wenxin saw several others flying in the sky, including elders and sect leaders. Her awkward situation was evident as she still held the tea cup, forcing a smile when she noticed their curious glances.

"Greetings, masters and elders."

They looked at her and the crow but made no move to attack it. The crow's presence seemed accepted, and it ignored their stares, flying even faster.

The speed exceeded human limits, forcing Ye Wenxin to use a defensive spell to endure the journey. The crow passed most of the back mountain, executing an S-turn before stopping in a secluded corner.

However, there was no cave there, nor any sign of the beautiful mute Ye Wenxin had seen before.

"Crow brother, why bring me here? Are you asking me to bury your master?" The tribulation seemed to have ended, possibly because the mute failed, leaving only ashes of the cave. Thinking of the mute's beautiful face, Ye Wenxin felt a pang of regret.

The crow seemed to understand her comment, pecking her head sharply with its beak before leading her to an open area. A faint blue light emanated from its body, revealing a hidden formation that unveiled a doorway.

Ye Wenxin cautiously approached, only for the crow to nudge her inside.

"Ouch... Crow brother, you..." Ye Wenxin intended to discuss some common sense with the crow, but the door had already closed behind her. She found herself in the cave she had visited before, where a woman lay on the ground with her eyes tightly shut.

The surroundings were charred, with a burnt smell lingering.

Ye Wenxin approached and confirmed that the woman was indeed the beautiful mute. She quickly checked her pulse, finding it as chaotic as the first time they met.
