Recap: Agnes questioned Veer about the mark on his forehead to which he lied. On the other hand, Rachel tried her best to hurt Yuvin.
At the venue,
The grand dining hall was alive with chatter, laughter, and the clinking of glasses. The table at the center of the room was filled with members of the family and high-profile guests, their expressions ranging from joy to tension. The air was thick with emotions—some genuine, others simmering with resentment.
In the midst of this, Aarav approached Yuvin.
His movements were hesitant, his voice trembling as he spoke. "Brother… please join us. Everyone is waiting for you."
Yuvin glanced at him but didn’t reply immediately.
His eyes flickered to Agnes, who was standing quietly, her calm gaze fixed on him.
There was a quiet understanding in her eyes, a silent encouragement that gave him the strength to confront the moment.
He believes she will stand with him no matter what he decides.
He shifted his gaze to Aarav, who stood before him with a pleading expression, almost childlike in its sincerity.
Aarav’s hands were clasped tightly, and his voice cracked as he added, "Don’t do this, brother. We’re family. Come with me"
After a long pause, Yuvin let out a deep breath and gave a small nod.
"I’m sorry, Aarav," he said, his voice low. He reached out, gently pushing Aarav’s hand away.
" Go and join them. I am not ready to have dinner with your family ", Yuvin answered.
But Aarav wasn’t ready to give up. His voice grew louder, filled with desperation.
"You can’t do this, brother. Every time, someone silences me, but not this time. I want my brother back. Eat with us. If you don’t, none of us will eat!"
Yuvin’s brows furrowed, his voice soft but firm. "Everyone is watching us, Aarav. Don’t create a scene."
"Let them watch," Aarav retorted, his determination unwavering. "Just eat with us."
Before Yuvin could respond, Aarav reached out and grabbed his hand. His grip was firm, almost as if he was afraid Yuvin would disappear if he let go.
He pulled him toward the family table.
Agnes followed silently, her movements calm and deliberate. She seemed to understand the gravity of the moment without a word being spoken.
Aarav made Yuvin sit beside him at the table, directly under the chandelier’s golden light. The room fell silent. Gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd as eyes turned toward the unexpected sight.
Not just the family, but even the investors and high-profile guests exchanged stunned glances. It was a bold statement, one that no one had anticipated.
Everyone knows Yuvin is not with his family. But this move shocked them.
Binoy and Rachel sat at the far end of the table, their expressions dark with frustration. Binoy’s jaw tightened, his fists clenched on the table. Rachel’s lips curled into a bitter smirk, her mind already racing with thoughts of retaliation.
"I don’t want outsiders here," Binoy muttered under his breath, his voice laced with disdain.
Suman’s sharp gaze turned to him.
"He’s not an outsider. He’s our elder brother. Don’t create unnecessary drama," he said firmly. His tone left no room for argument.
" Aarav, listen ", Yuvin tried to explain.
