Recap - Yuvin decided to leave Agnes and advised Stephan to prepare divorce papers. On the other side, Agnes was thinking of a way to surprise Yuvin.
In the Yuvin room,
Agnes has lost the balance and pushed the photo of Yuvin and Dadi.
The sound of glass shattering echoed in the room. Yuvin's eyes widened as he saw what had fallen. It was a picture of him and his grandmother-a photo he cherished dearly.
A cold silence followed.
Agnes turned around slowly, her face pale. "Yuvin... I-"
Before she could explain, Yuvin's expression darkened, his fists clenched at his sides.
"How dare you?!" he roared, his voice shaking with rage.
Agnes flinched.
Agnes had never seen Yuvin this furious before. The warmth that once existed between them seemed to vanish in an instant. Her heart pounded, fear creeping into her veins.
"It was an accident," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I didn’t mean to—"
But Yuvin’s anger was unstoppable. His breathing was heavy, his eyes burned with unspoken pain. The broken pieces of the frame lay scattered across the floor, reflecting the cracks forming between them.
" Yuvin. I was ", she tried to explain.
Agnes’ throat tightened as she took a step to explain, wanting to explain, wanting to ease his anger, but the way he looked at her—like a stranger, like someone he could no longer trust—made her feel that she made a mistake that can never be rectified.
And that realization hurt more than anything else.
Yuvin noticed she is still struggling on the ladder.
"Get down first!" Yuvin shouted.
Agnes quickly climbed down from the ladder, her hands trembling. He didn't help her even when she was trembling.
"Yuvin, I didn’t mean it. I got the photo frame you ordered. I didn’t want it to be damaged, so I tried to hang it on the wall.", Agnes said pointing the photo frame.
Yuvin looked at the photo frame, his gaze fixed on the Agnes who was adorned beautifully in the wedding dress and him—once so full of unexplainable feelings. The picture had just arrived, a reminder of what they used to be. His heart clenched as Stephan words echoed in his mind: *"She is planning to divorce you "*
He remembered the way her voice wavered, the pain in her eyes. Had she already let go while he was still holding on? The warmth of nostalgia twisted into heartbreak, and a heavy emptiness settled in his chest.
" I am sorry, Yuvin ", Agnes apologize made Yuvin come out of this thoughts.
"Stop lying! I know exactly who you are. You’ve hated my dadi from day one. You want to erase her from my life, and that’s why you broke this photo!" Yuvin accused, his voice dripped with bitterness.
" Why would I do that? ", Agnes questioned.
" Don't try to act ", Yuvin shouted.
"Speak normally, don't shout Yuvin! It’s just a frame. I will fix it," Agnes said, trying to stay calm.
" It might be just frame for you. But she is my life and this photo reminds me that my dadi is with me all the time ", Yuvin answered.
Agnes stared at the shattered glass, her heart sinking. She hadn’t meant to drop it. She knew how much it meant to him,
Guilt crept in as she bent down, carefully picking up the pieces. She sighed, biting her lip.
