Recap - Agnes and Yuvin solved their misunderstanding. Agnes parents left the city. On the other side, Jane didn't forgive Stephan for shouting at her.
The day began with a sense of hope and apprehension.
Agnes and Yuvin were sitting together on the balcony of Agnes home. The soft breeze carried the scent of blooming jasmine, and the swing she sat on creaked softly under their weight.
“This was always my favorite spot,” Agnes began, her voice filled with nostalgia.
She ran her fingers along the wooden armrest of the swing.
Yuvin was sitting in the beam bag.
“Anish, Aishu, and I used to fight over it all the time. My mom eventually came up with a rule—each of us would take turns every day. But Anish…” She paused, smiling fondly.
" Hmm ", Yuvin asked.
“Anish always gave up his turn for me or Aishu. He’s such a great guy.” Agnes appreciated her friend.
Yuvin observed her silently, his expression contemplative.
“I don’t remember ever seeing you with him,” he said after a moment.
Agnes tilted her head, curiosity flickering in her eyes. " When did you even meet me? ”
“During your intercollege event,” Yuvin replied, his gaze shifting away from her as if the memory was too fragile to hold onto.
Agnes stood and moved closer to him, her voice softer now.
He looked at her.
“Why did you decide to marry me?” she asked, her eyes searching his face for answers.
Yuvin hesitated, a faint smile playing on his lips.
" Look at me ", Agnes said.
Yuvin looked at her.
" Why & when did you decide to marry me? ", she repeated.
“Even I’m trying to figure that out. I’ll definitely let you know once I find the right words.”
Agnes frowned, her frustration bubbling to the surface.
“You always push this topic aside. Why can’t you just be honest with me?” , Agnes asked.
Yuvin sighed, his tone firm yet gentle. “We’ll talk about it tonight, for sure.”
Agnes crossed her arms, unconvinced but unwilling to argue further. “Fine. Let’s get ready. I want to visit Roshni Mom before heading to college.”
Yuvin nodded, and the two of them began preparing for the day ahead.

A short while later,
They were seated in Yuvin’s car, heading toward Agnes’s college.
The air between them was quiet, but not tense—it was a silence filled with unspoken thoughts.
As Yuvin drove, his phone rang.
Glancing at the screen, he saw Stephan’s name. He answered with a calm, “Yes, Stephan?”
“When will you get here?” Stephan’s voice was curt, impatient.
“I’ll drop Agnes at college and then come over,” Yuvin replied.
“Why can’t she go alone?” Stephan asked, his tone sharp.
Yuvin’s brow furrowed. “We’re already in the car. Just give me an hour.”
