Recap: Yuvin warned Anish not to mess with his wife. Agnes consoled Yuvin when he was angry with her.
Near Anish’s home,
Agnes tugged gently at Yuvin’s sleeve.
“Let’s leave, Yuvin. Mom keeps calling, and Dad’s diabetic,” she said urgently, her voice tinged with worry.
Her phone buzzed incessantly in her hand, emphasizing the importance of her words.
As they were about to leave, Stephan approached. “Yuvin, I wanted to speak with you, it's important” he repeated.
“If it’s related to work, take the decision yourself,” Yuvin responded, his tone brisk.
“But—” Stephan tried to interject.
Yuvin asks him to stop.
“After years, I finally have time to spend with my family. Please, Stephan, no matter how important the topic is, let’s discuss it tomorrow. Take care of other things in the meantime,” Yuvin said firmly, his voice steady but leaving no space for argument.
" Fine ", Though Stephan agreed, the displeasure on his face was evident. His lips tightened as he nodded, suppressing the frustration that simmered within him.
" If possible, I will call you when I am free. Let us discuss", Yuvin said looking at his friend expression.
" No need, let us discuss tomorrow " Stephan answered.
Yuvin turned to Aishu, his tone lightening.
“By the way, congratulations, Aishu. We hope to see positive energy from your end.”
“Thank you, sir,” Aishu replied with a grateful smile.
Stephan stood at a distance, his arms crossed tightly over his chest, observing Agnes as she interacted with Yuvin.
She was constantly advising Yuvin to leave soon.
. A frown deepened on Stephan face with each passing moment. Her warm smile and the ease with which she clung to Yuvin’s arm seemed unnatural to him.
As Yuvin and Agnes walked away, Stephan muttered under his breath, watching the car disappear into the distance. “She’s quite the actress. No one would guess she’s filed for divorce. Definitely she should get an award for this acting.”
Aishu, however, seemed hesitant. “I think she might withdraw the case. She looks happy with Yuvin.”
Stephan’s expression hardened. “There’s no need. She decided to leave; she has to leave.”
Stephan's mind churned with frustration as he watched Agnes and Yuvin together. Despite the apparent warmth between them, he couldn't let go of the fact that she had already filed for divorce.
Stephan shook his head, his thoughts growing colder. *Yuvin deserves someone who is clear about what they want, not someone who wavers. If she’s decided to leave, then she should leave. It’s as simple as that.* Yet, a part of him couldn’t understand why she hesitated, leaving him restless and agitated.
“But—” Aishu started, only for Stephan to cut her off.
“I have nothing to discuss with you. Send me the divorce agreement copy,” he said, climbing into his car with an air of finality.
On the other side of the city,
Yuvin and Agnes reached her parents’ home. Agnes clung tightly to Yuvin’s hand as they stepped inside, her grip conveying a mix of happiness and joy.
