Recap: Veer thanked Yuvin for standing by his family. At midnight, Yuvin and Agnes began their life together. Agnes confessed her feelings for him.
It was a serene midnight.
The city outside their window was silent except for the occasional chirping of trees.
The faint glow of the moon seeped into the room, casting a soft light over the space.
Yuvin’s mobile suddenly buzzed on the bedside table, breaking the atmosphere.
Yuvin stirred from his sleep, rubbing his eyes as he reached out to check the mobile.
Agnes slightly turned.
“Why are you looking at your mobile? Who’s calling you at this hour?” Agnes asked groggily, her voice heavy with sleep.
Yuvin smiled and silenced his phone, placing it face down.
“Definitely not a woman,” he teased, grinning at her.
Agnes shifted closer, raising herself slightly and lying in his arms.
" Hair,” she whispered, adjusting herself.
“Relax,” he said, wrapping his arm around her.
" Who called you? ", Agnes asked.
“A normal call from my sister. Don't worry, No one’s taking this spot away from you.” he assured her.
“And I’m not letting it go,” she replied, snuggling into him tightly.
Yuvin kissed her head gently.
Even in the dim light, he could see her eyes shining as they looked at him. He ran his fingers through her hair, but she kept staring.
“What’s wrong?” he asked softly.
“Everything feels new, Yuvin,” Agnes said, her voice carrying a sense of wonder.
“What do you mean?” Yuvin questioned.
“Being with you like this... it’s new, but beautiful in the best way possible,” she replied with a small smile.
Yuvin leaned down and kissed her.
“I wasn’t ready to marry you,” she confessed after a pause.
“I kept hoping for a miracle to stop it, even at the last moment. When we did get married, I promised myself I wouldn’t give this relationship a chance. I thought I’d leave as soon as possible, no matter what happens ", Agnes said.
Yuvin’s expression softened, his grip tightening around her.
“But today,” she continued, her voice trembling slightly,
“I find myself waiting to hear you say you love me. I think I’ve found the perfect man for me.” she said happily.
He smiled, his heart swelling with emotion, and he held her closer.
“I want to have kids with you,” she suddenly added, her voice barely above a whisper.
Yuvin’s eyes widened.
“Agnes?” he asked, surprised.
She buried her face in his chest, too shy to meet his gaze.
“Look at me,” he said gently, lifting her face. “Really?”
She nodded, her cheeks turning red.
His smile grew wider, and he kissed her deeply.
“Don’t ever leave me, Yuvin,” she said softly.
