Ocean Sea Floor
The Thousand Sunny continued its steady descent into the abyssal depths of the ocean, the ship's hull creaking softly as it pushed further into the mysterious darkness below. Around them, the crew marveled at the strange and wondrous sea life that flickered and shimmered in the faint glow of the deep-sea waters—bioluminescent fish darting past like living lanterns, enormous jellyfish drifting lazily, their tentacles trailing like ghostly veils, and schools of shimmering, iridescent creatures that shimmered in the gloom.
Yushiro, standing nearby, suddenly straightened and pushed himself up from his seated position. He left Sanji behind and moved purposefully to the railings. His sharp eyes scanned the surrounding waters with a practiced gaze, sensing something amiss. A flicker of movement caught his attention in the shadowy depths, and he squinted, focusing intently.
"Oi!" he called out loudly enough for everyone to hear, his voice cutting through the ambient sounds of the ocean. "There's a ship following us at 6 o' clock!"
The crew immediately snapped to attention at his alert. Tension rippled through the deck as everyone looked toward the indicated direction.
Sure enough, a pirate ship emerged from the darkness, cutting through the water with reckless abandon. Its sleek, menacing hull surged forward, closing the distance rapidly. The crew of that vessel scrambled across their deck—some shouting orders, others glaring with malicious intent—eyes glinting with greed and aggression.
From atop their own ship, the captain of the pursuing vessel leapt onto the railing, his grotesque face twisted into a sneer that exuded arrogance and menace. "We're going in, men!" he barked, voice loud and commanding. His voice carried over the water as he gestured forward, signaling his crew to prepare for attack.
Yushiro, however, remained fixated on something in the distance, completely ignoring the enemy captain's bravado. His gaze was directed at the massive sea creature that had suddenly surged beneath the enemy ship, tugging it with unnatural strength. His eyes widened in recognition and awe, and a small, nostalgic smile played on his lips.
"Oi! Momoo-chan! You remember me?!" Yushiro called out cheerfully, standing on the rail with a wave of his hand. His voice was warm and familiar.
Momoo, the enormous sea creature immediately responded to his voice. Its huge, bulbous head turned toward him, and it broke into a broad grin, emitting happy, gurgling noises that sounded like a happy chorus. The creature's massive eyes gleamed with affection and recognition.
But as soon as Momoo spotted the Straw Hat crew—particularly Luffy and Sanji—something changed. A sudden flash of fear crossed the gentle giant's face. Its gentle expression twisted into panic, and it let out a loud, distressed wail. Without hesitation, Momoo jerked away from the enemy ship with frantic thrashing, dragging the pirate vessel with it in a wild, uncontrollable retreat.
The ship lurched violently as the enormous sea creature's frantic movements caused chaos on deck. Pirates and crew members alike shouted in alarm, clutching onto railings and masts as the ship was pulled deeper into the dark abyss, leaving their captain behind in the wake of the chaos.
The enemy captain, watching this scene unfold, let out a sinister laugh—a high-pitched, maniacal cackle that echoed over the tumult. "Kehihihihihi!" he sneered, eyes gleaming with greed and madness. "While these fools are busy staring, dumbfounded... WE'LL SLAUGHTER EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM ON THAT SHIP!" His arms flung upward dramatically, voice rising to a manic shriek. "Now, men! Don't just stand around! RAISE THOSE GATLING GUNS—RIP THEM TO SHREDS! Kill the whole damn Straw Hat crew—!"
