Chapter 4

‘Okay.’ Faith said.

‘Listen.’ Faith sighed.

‘Okay.’ Faith once again.

‘I’ve heard the word ‘Okay’ for the tenth time in two seconds! Tell me what is going on or I’ll walk away, and you will never see me back again.’ Hope said.

‘Hope, I just need to figure out how I’m going to tell you.’ Faith said.

Hope looked at Faith.

‘Are you kidding me? You know what is going on here, I don’t! I’m scared and strange things are happening.’ Hope said.

‘And YOU are going to tell me what it is!’ Hope went on.

‘What did Rumpelstiltskin mean with that you’ve lied to me my whole life?’ Hope asked.

‘Well, okay can you maybe pack your Fairy Tales book?’ Faith asked.

Hope raised her eyebrows and looked at her best friend.

‘Just do it.’ Faith said.

Hope sighed and packed the book from under her bed. She laid it down on her bed next to her.

‘What now?’ She asked looking up at Faith.

‘Okay, open it.’ Faith said.

Hope did what Faith said and opened the book.

‘The book that was in the museum, was that the same as this one?’ Hope asked.

‘Yes.’ Faith said.

‘But there was one story that is not in this one.’ Hope said.

‘What do you mean?’ Faith asked.

‘The story about me.’ Hope said.

‘Well actually it is in this book too.’ Faith said.

Hope gave Faith a confused look.

‘Only you haven’t opened the book properly.’ Faith said.

‘What do you mean?’ Hope asked.

‘Your necklace.’ Faith said.

Hope put her fingers on the blue diamond that was hanging on the necklace.

‘Something wrong with it?’ Hope asked.

‘No, but it’s a special necklace.’ Faith said.

‘There is magic within the diamond, your mother put it there.’ Faith said.

‘My mother?’ Hope asked.

Faith nodded.

‘But what has the necklace to do with the book?’ Hope asked.

‘The necklace is also a key.’ Faith said.

‘A key to what?’ Hope asked.

‘A key for the chapter in the book and for more other things.’ Faith explained.

Hope packed the blue diamond between two fingers.

‘So I can open the chapter about me with this necklace?’ Hope asked.

Faith nodded.

‘Okay, let’s do it then.’ Hope said.

Faith looked at Hope and then nodded again. Hope got the necklace off and held it in her hand.

‘What now?’ Hope asked.

‘Close the book.’ Faith said.

Hope did what Faith said and closed the book.
