‘Jace.’ she said.

‘Well?’ he asked offering his hand.

‘Yes, sure.’ Hope said nodding, taking his hand.

Jace smiled and took a further on the dance floor. Placing his hand on her waist and holding his other hand up with hers in his, starting the dance.

‘You didn’t tell me you were the lost princess and that this party was actually yours, in the hallway.’ Jace said.

Hope blushed.

‘You didn’t ask.’ Hope said.

‘True.’ Jace said.

Hope smiled.

‘Are you enjoying your party?’ Jace asked.

‘Until now, I actually do.’ Hope told him.

‘Good.’ Jace said smiling.

‘How do you know Sn- my parents?’ Hope asked.

‘My parents are friends of them.’ Jace told her.

‘Who are your parents?’ Hope asked.

‘Cinderella and Prince Henry, or well King now.’ Jace said.

‘Really?’ Hope asked.

Jace nodded.

‘I just met your mother, she’s lovely.’ Hope said.

Jace smiled.

‘You don’t really like being around a lot of people, do you?’ Jace asked after a few seconds of silence.

‘How did you know?’ Hope asked.

‘Do you really believe I would’ve let you stay there if you were really not feeling well?’ Jace said.

‘I don’t know, you didn’t know me, of course you would.’ Hope said.

‘I would never have done that to you. But I saw the King already coming out of the ballroom.’ Jace said.

‘You figured I was- well the lost princess?’ Hope asked.

Jace smiled.

‘Of course.’ he said.

‘How?’ Hope asked.

‘My mother has come over here the past week, knowing the time had unfrozen, that meant you were back where you belonged.’ Jace told her.

‘Here.’ Hope sighed.

Jace nodded.

‘And when I saw you behind that pillar, looking nervous I figured you were the one.’ Jace said.

Hope bit her lip.

‘I was glad when you were standing here alone, so I could ask you for a dance.’ Jace said smiling.

Hope looked up at him and gave him a small smile.

‘Glad you did.’ she said.

Wow he was really charming. And cute.

‘I know this beautiful spot, close to the castle, I can show you one day.’ Jace said.

Hope snapped back to reality and looked up at him.

‘Yes, sure, that would be lovely. When?’ she asked.

‘Tomorrow?’ Jace asked.

‘I’ll be waiting.’ Hope said smiling.
