‘Breath in…… and out.’ Elsa said softly.
‘In …….. and out.’
Hope did what she was told and tried to relax.
‘Good.’ Elsa said.
‘Think of a happy memory.’ Elsa said.
‘Something that makes you smile. Something that makes you happy.’ Elsa said.
Hope and Rapunzel had been staying in Arendelle now for three weeks. Elsa had tried to help Hope, but no progress so far.
A happy memory. Happy memory. Maybe that time when I played with Faith in the park when we were younger? Or when Amity and I chose a name for her? Or maybe when dad trained with me? Or when mom showed me how the library worked so I could find the book I wanted in just a second? Or when I first met Jace? Or when Jace kissed me? Or when Finn gave me the sword that he had made for me with his own hands? When Finn was training me? Or when Finn wanted to protect me from the Evil Queen by stepping in front of me? Or that night when he showed me the fireflies in the garden and he was opening up to me?
‘Hope, open your eyes.’ she heard Elsa say softly.
Hope opened her eyes and saw the signs on her fingers light up. And when she folded her hands open a soft blue small light was shining in the centre of her hands.
‘Good, good.’ Elsa said smiling.
‘You’re doing great.’ she said.
‘Now, try to make the light bigger.’ Elsa said.
Hope took in a deep breath and closed her eyes again.
‘Think of the same thing you were thinking about at last. Think about it in details. Feel it.’ Elsa said.
The images of that night came flickering into her mind. The fireflies appearing in the dark, flying silently through the dark. Looking like stars, only closer. Finn standing next to her with a smile on his face. He looked happy. Genuinely happy.
‘Great Hope, you’re doing great.’ Elsa said.
Then Hope heard shaking cups on the table. Hope opened her eyes and it shocked her when she saw the whole table that was standing not so far away from her shaking extremely hard. That’s when she noticed not only the table was shaking, everything was shaking. That’s when the chandelier that was hanging from the ceiling fell down, right down at Elsa. Hope screamed and immediately the light was gone in her hands and the shaking stopped. Elsa had used her own powers and the chandelier didn’t hit her but the ice that was as a shield above her.
‘Ah, almost.’ Elsa said.
‘But you were great! You did it!’ Elsa said.
Hope looked up at Elsa, not believing what Elsa just said.
‘I almost killed you! And caused an earthquake!’ Hope said.
‘No you didn’t.’ Elsa said.
‘I saw it!’ Hope said getting up.
‘What was that! Everyone okay?’ Kristoff asked concerned as he ran into the room, followed by Anna and Rapunzel.
‘Hope did it!’ Elsa said smiling.
‘Really?’ Rapunzel asked.
Elsa nodded proudly.
‘First it was a small spot of light, then it became bigger and bigger, everything started to shake, but when she noticed that and was startled by it, it stopped, just like the light.’ Elsa told them.
