‘Wait here, I’ll see if I can find someone.’ Gwendolyn said.

Hope sighed and stayed where she was with five books balancing on her head now.

‘Don’t stop walking.’ Gwendolyn said.

‘I won’t.’ Hope said and started to walk to the other side of the ballroom again.

When is this ever going to stop?

It was three days after Cinderella’s party and Hope had been having the same nightmare the past three nights. It was making her nuts, but the nightmare was changing little bit by little bit. In the third dream it was Finn who ran up to her and Jace hadn’t been in it at all. Hope turned around and walked back to the other side of the ballroom.

‘I’ve got you a dance partner.’ Gwendolyn said.

Hope slowly turned around and saw her dad walking up to her.

‘Dance partner? I’ve already danced.’ Hope said.

‘A couple of days ago, yes, but you need to learn a traditional dance.’ Gwendolyn said.

‘Oh so that’s the dance they did at the last two parties.’ Hope said.

Gwendolyn nodded.

‘Imagine an invisible line in the middle of the room and stand three metres away from it.’ Gwendolyn said.

‘Can I put those books on the ground please?’ Hope asked.

‘As you wish, but straighten your back.’ Gwendolyn said taking the books from Hope’s head.

‘Thank you.’ Hope said and she did as she was said, standing three metres from the middle line.

‘Now slowly take steps to the line and when you get there, bow for your dance partner.’ Gwendolyn said.

Hope took slow steps forward towards the line and bowed for her dad, who did the same to her.

‘Take one step to the right and hold your left hand up, inside to your dance partner.’ Gwendolyn said.

‘Good, good, now take slow steps and turn around each other, when you’re back at your place, step to the left, lift your right hand up and do the same only the other way. Great job, now when you’re back at your place, you raise both hands and make a right turn around each other. After that to the left. Good job, now bow and step back.’ Gwendolyn said.

‘You’re getting better and better.’ Gwendolyn said.

‘Thank you.’ Hope said.

‘Charming, can you help me with something?’ Snow asked coming into the ballroom.

‘Oh yes.’ Charming said.

‘Excuse me my princess, I have to help the queen.’ Charming said holding her hand up in his.

‘No problem my king.’ Hope said with a small smile.

Charming gave her a wink and gave her a kiss on the cheek, before running out of the ballroom.

‘I have to say Hope, you are a good student.’ Gwendolyn said.

Hope smiled.

‘Thank you miss Gwendolyn.’ Hope said, bending slightly through her knees, giving her a nod.

Gwendolyn smiled.

‘But now we don’t have a dance partner for you.’ Gwendolyn sighed.

‘I hear I’m right in time.’ someone said from the door.
