Once Upon a Time

Chapter 25

‘Thank you so much Rose.’ Hope said giving the girl a hug.

‘It was great having you around.’ Rose said.

‘I’ll come back soon.’ Hope said smiling pulling away.

‘Promise?’ Rose asked.

Hope smiled.

‘Promise.’

‘We have to go now Hope.’ Faith said.

‘Cheerio.’ Hope said and she turned around.

‘Bye.’ Rose said.

Hope turned around as they walked further and waved before Rose was out of sight. They walked past the little forest that was near the village, down the path, back on their way to the castle.

‘Are you really going back?’ Finn asked.

Hope had caught up with them and was walking next to him now, with Faith on the other side of her.

‘Yes I will, I promised.’ Hope said.

‘And I always keep my promise.’ Hope added.

Finn smiled.

‘Good to hear.’ Finn said.

‘Going to use that against you.’ He added smirking.

‘You awful person!’ Hope said pushing him.

Finn laughed.

‘Is your neck okay?’ Hope asked turning to Faith.

‘Yes, you did the healing incantation this morning, it’s not working out that fast.’ Faith said smirking.

Hope smiled and nodded.

‘Faith, I’m happy you’re here with me.’ Hope said.

Faith smiled.

‘Me too.’ Faith told her.

‘Is the castle far from here?’ Hope asked.

‘Not that far anymore, you can see it over there.’ Finn said.

Hope looked up and saw the castle, with walls around it to protect it. The castle looked beautiful, as if it popped up out of a fairy tales book.

Of course it looks like that stupid, this is from a fairy tales book, the fairy tales book is derived from this world, duh.

The castle had white bricks and light blue round roofs on the turrets. It looked a little tiny bit like the castle in Disney.  Hope smiled and then fear came up inside her.

What if they weren’t there? What if some trap was sat up in the castle? What if people would try and kill us? What if Snow and Charming don’t want to see me?

‘Something wrong?’ Finn asked.

‘What? No!’ Hope said.

‘Sure? You look a bit pale.’ Faith said.

‘No, I’m fine.’ Hope said.

Faith and Finn exchanged a look.

‘Don’t do that!’ Hope said.

‘What?’ Faith asked.

‘Looking at each other like that, as if I became mad.’ Hope said.

Finn laughed.

‘News flash princess, you are.’ Finn said.

Hope scowled.

‘I am not!’ Hope said.
