Chapter 40

Rapunzel had been trying to help Hope, but there was not much of progress. Rapunzel had tried a lot of things, but nothing worked. Hope had been having nightmares almost every night, Rapunzel and Flynn had even suggested that Finn had to stay at her room, but she had passed. She was feeling guilty of waking everyone up every night with her screaming. The nightmare had been the same, every night again, it was horrible. Hope was over exhausted, but she was glad Amity was around to make her day a little better. Finn had been trying to tell her something, but every time he didn’t get the chance. Hope was writing to Jace and getting letters back almost every day or two days. Everything was okay over there, he told her he missed her a lot, but that he would see her soon, because apparently princess Anna and Kristoff were going to get married and they were all invited to come to Arendelle. Hope was quite excited about that. This would be her first fairy tale wedding, her first wedding even. Even though she was stressing out because she didn’t get her magic under control, which was really frustrating, she tried to stay positive. Everything would be okay in the end.

‘Hope, I don’t think I can help you any further.’ Rapunzel sighed.

‘I’m sorry Rapunzel.’ Hope said looking down at her hands.

Rapunzel looked up at Hope and Hope could see she was having a hard time. Hope knew Rapunzel really wanted to help her and in all the time of trying nothing had really happened.

‘You remind me of my cousin.’ Rapunzel said.

‘Though her story is the other way a-‘ Rapunzel stopped and widened her eyes ‘-round.’ she finished and a huge smile appeared on her face.

‘Hope! I know who can help us!’ Rapunzel said.

‘Who?’ Hope asked as Rapunzel fast walked out of the room.

Hope raised her eyebrows and walked after Rapunzel, but as she wanted to leave the room she bumped into someone.

‘Oh sorry.’ she said as she looked up.

‘Hi.’ Finn said.

‘Oh hi.’ she said.

‘How are you?’

‘Fine, I guess, you?’ Hope asked.

Finn looked into her green eyes.

‘Same I guess.’ he shrugged.

‘I have to go.’ Hope said and she turned back to walk further.

‘Hope.’ Finn said.

Hope turned to look at him.

‘Yes?’

‘I’m actually-‘

‘Princess Hope, the queen wants to speak to you.’ a soldier, guard-ish looking guy said to her.

Hope nodded and walked after the guard.

‘-not fine.’ Finn finished softly and looked at Hope until she disappeared out of the room.

‘Where is the queen?’ Hope asked.

‘In her room.’

Hope nodded and followed silently.

‘Hope! I may have found someone who can help you.’ Rapunzel said right when Hope entered her room.

‘Who?’ Hope asked.

‘My cousin Elsa, the queen of Arendelle.’ Rapunzel said.

‘Elsa?’ Hope asked.

‘I’ve just send her a letter, we’ll just have to wait for an answer. We are going to Arendelle in four weeks for the wedding of Anna and Kristoff, but if she says it’s okay I’ll go with you right away, stay there with you and see how everything is when the party is over.’ Rapunzel said.
