Once Upon a Time

Chapter 33

Rapunzel and Flynn were seated in the library room, with a warm cup of tea. The library was huge. There were books everywhere around you. A stairs leading up to another row of bookshelves. The room gave you a nice warm feeling, as if it was Christmas. Dark wooded shelves, a fire place nearby the comfy red chairs and couches, a red soft carpet and thousands of books. Rapunzel and Flynn were both in a kind of shock state and Snow and Hope both didn’t really dare to say anything after Snow had told them about Finn not having been frozen in time, as everyone else had.

‘Finn told me he was scared you wouldn’t want him anymore.’ Hope said finally.

Tears welled up in Rapunzel’s eyes and Hope cursed herself.

Seriously? You’re making her cry, you’re just making it worse! Just keep your mouth shut.

‘Finn has grown close to Hope.’ Snow said.

‘If something is wrong he only wants Hope around.’ Snow said softly.

‘Really?’ Rapunzel asked.

Snow nodded.

‘I’ve seen it.’ Snow said.

What has this to do with the subject?

‘Can we see him?’ Flynn asked.

‘Shall I get him?’ Hope asked softly.

Snow nodded and Hope turned to walk out of the room.

‘Oh Hope.’ Rapunzel said.

Hope turned back to look at Rapunzel.

‘Yes?’

‘Don’t think we’re mad at you, all of this is really overwhelming.’

Hope nodded.

‘That’s understandable.’ Hope said.

‘Can we talk later?’ Rapunzel asked.

Hope smiled.

‘Of course.’ she said and she fast walked out of the room.

'Amity.’ Hope called.

The little bird came flying towards her from the way you could get to the kitchen.

‘Hi beautiful, can you help me find Finn?’ Hope asked.

Amity tweeted and flew towards the ballroom. Then Amity tweeted and Hope heard Finn say something.

‘Let go of me.’ Finn said.

Amity appeared in the hallway, holding Finn’s sleeve in her beak.

‘Your parents are here.’ Hope said.

Finn froze at the spot and looked at Hope, not noticing the bird anymore.

‘You can let him go Amity, thank you.’ Hope said smiling and Amity flew over to her, landing on her shoulder.

‘Where are they?’ Finn asked softly.

‘In the library.’ Hope said.

Are you kidding me?

Hope had seen Finn thinking of a strategy and Hope ran towards him, tackling him to the ground before he could run further and trying to hold him down with her bodyweight.

‘Stay here!’ Hope said.

‘Let me go!’ Finn said trying to get Hope off of him.

‘No I won’t let you go! You have to see your parents!’ Hope said.
