Chapter 35

‘Am I approved like this?’ Hope asked turning around.

‘You look beautiful honey.’ Snow said.

Hope smiled. She was wearing a navy blue dress with a few white details,  her hair was half up, half down. Her long brown hair was naturally straight, so Autumn had made curls in it.

‘But you forgot something.’ Snow said.

‘What do you mean?’ Hope asked.

‘This.’ Snow said putting the tiara on Hope’s head.

Hope turned around and looked at herself in the mirror. She smiled and nodded.

‘Thank you.’ Hope said.

‘We’ll leave in five minutes.’ Snow said turning around and walking to the door.

‘Okay.’ Hope said and she turned to her bed, where Amity was seated down.

‘I’m quite nervous Ams.’ Hope said.

Amity tweeted. Hope sighed and sat down on her bed.

*flash back*

‘Hope this was just delivered for you.’ Autumn said coming into Hope’s room.

‘What is it?’ Hope asked sitting up straight, putting her book to the side.

‘This.’ Autumn said putting beautiful looking flowers in Hope’s room.

‘Who send them?’ Hope asked.

‘I don’t know, but here is the letter that’ll probably tell you.’ Autumn said.

Hope smiled.

‘Oh and another letter has been delivered.’ Autumn said.

She handed both letters over to Hope and left the room. Hope opened the first one and read it.

Dear Hope,

I saw those flowers and they made me think of you, of how beautiful you looked in your blue dress the first night in the castle, which was the first time I saw you in a dress. You were stunning, you are stunning and I hope you’ll enjoy the party. I ask you to be my date for the party and if you accept that, I’ll see you at the front door around 8pm.

Hope smiled as she reread it and then placed it next to her, grabbing the second letter. She opened the envelope and pulled the letter out.

Dear Hope,

I’m sorry for the late letter, I have been trying to find the best way to ask you this, I’ve written a lot of letters, but none expressed what I wanted it to do. You’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met inside and out. My mother throws a party and I was wondering and hoping you want to be my date the ball. I hope you’ll accept my offer and if you do I’ll meet you at the front door around 8 in the afternoon. I’m looking forward to see you again.

Hope reread this too and then looked back at the other letter.

Hmm that’s odd, why would he send two letters? Maybe he forgot he already send one? Or he send one and then forgot the flowers and send another one with it?

*flash back finished*

Hope walked out of her room, followed by Amity. She walked through the corridors towards Faith’s room, just to see if she was ready yet. Hope opened the door and saw the room was empty, when she just wanted to close the door again she saw the letter that Faith was trying to hide from her laying on her bed. Hope looked around and sneaked into Faith’s room. She walked over to the bed and picked the letter up, unfolding it and reading it.
