Jude walked down the hall with Alex.
"How was Florida?" Alex asked. "Did you meet any hot guys?"
"A couple" Jude said. "I'm just happy to be back home. It's crazy over there. And I missed it here."
"Have you talked to Connor yet?" Alex asked.
"I was going to call him last night" Jude said. "But I don't think I have the guts too."
"Jude" Alex said. "He loves you. It's totally obvious."
Alex's phone buzzes and he starts texting with a goofy smile on his face.
"Who are you texting?" Jude asked.
"Just Jake" Alex said. "We been texting all summer."
"Do you like him again?" Jude asked.
"it doesn't matter" Alex said. "Were just friends besides I'm not really his type."
Jude rolls his eyes. Jake walks by and winks at Alex who blushes.
"Oh he doesn't like you, huh?" Jude said. "Alex I can tell when Jake likes someone. Remember I dated him. He's totally crushing on you."
"So my summer went great" Alex said. "Thanks for asking. I spent the summer with Dar and Tay. We pretty much checked out guys at the mall all summer."
Alex stops and his smile drops and Jude looks at the memorial for Danni.
"You okay?" Jude asked.
"Yeah" Alex said. "It's just been a while since I seen the memorial."
"I know" Jude said. "Come on we better get to class."
Mariana sits in class next to Tia, Emma, and Jesus.
"Can you guys believe it?" Mariana asked. "Were finally seniors."
"it's crazy" Tia agreed.
Hayley entered the classroom. Tia and her shared a quick look and Tia winked and Hayley blushed and sat down.
"I think we're in for a good year" Jesus said.
"Hopefully better than last year" Emma said. "Last year was the worst year Anchor Beach ever had. I mean a student lost her life."
"Okay" Mariana said. "We have to hold auditions for dance club soon. Because this is our last year and we're going to have to leave the team to younger students."
"We could hold tryouts" Tia said. "It's fun and gets people to cut loose and be who they are."
"I'm with Tia" Emma said. "It's a pretty good idea."
"Okay" Mariana said. "Well make it as laid back as we can."
"I'm sure we'll find new members" Tia said. "In no time."
Tia looked back at Hayley and smiled at Hayley sho smiled back at her. Tia winked. Mariana caught the look and became suspicious.
In class, Jude sat with Alex, Daria, and Taylor.
"This one guy was so cute" Daria said. "He totally liked Taylor but Taylor wasn't interested for some reason."
Taylor rolled her eyes.
"He wasn't that cute" Taylor argued.
"Yes he was" both Alex and Daria said.
Stacy walks to them.
"Can I join your table?" Stacy asked.
"Sure" Alex said.
