Alex enters the kitchen.
"Morning roomie" Alex greeted.
"Morning" Jude said.
"So Connor called again" Alex told Jude. "Are you sure breaking off things with him was what you really wanted?"
"He cheated on me" Jude said.
"He made a mistake" Alex said.
"Who's side are you on here?" Jude snapped.
"Yours" Alex said.
"Really?" Jude asked. "Because it doesn't sound like it."
"Your right" Alex said. "I'm sorry. It's his fault."
"Thank you" Jude said.
Alex's phone buzzes.
"It's her again" Alex said annoyed. "I don't know why she wants to talk to me. Probably to tell me how big of a disappointment I am."
"You should talk to her" Jude said. "To see what's going on with her."
Alex nodded.
"I will" Alex said.
"I can't believe you moved to town" Connor told Peter.
"Dude" Peter smiled. "We're cousins forever man."
Connor laughed.
"So is he still not talking to you?" Peter asked.
"No" Connor said. "He hates me."
"It's not your fault you got so screwed up" Peter said. "I mean you went through some heavy stuff. With that Eli guy."
"We all did" Connor said. "So anyway what's your plan now?"
"To get a job" Peter laughed.
Alex entered an office and Victoria looked up at him and smiled.
"Alex" Victoria smiled. "You look amazing."
"Cut the crap Victoria" Alex snapped. "Why am I here?"
Victoria looked hurt.
"I guess I deserve that" Victoria replied. "Please sit down."
He sits on the couch and Victoria sits next to him.
"I know I was never the best mother" Victoria said.
"You were the worst" Alex commented.
"Alex I want to be a mother to you" Victoria said. "I want a second chance. Give me a chance to earn your trust."
"I'm not sure you can" Alex replied. "I'm not sure if I can trust you."
"Well I can't earn it if you don't talk to me" Victoria pointed out. "Alex I love you. Your my son. I know I was a bad mother and I know I can't give you back those years of abandonment. But I can give you better years."
"I guess I could try" Alex said. "But this is it Mom. After this there will be no more chances for you."
Victoria nodded.
"How about you come work here?" Victoria asked.
"What?" Alex asked.
"Max told me your unemployed at the moment" Victoria said. "You could work here. It's a family business. I part own it along with James Larrison."
"What would I even do?" Alex asked.
"You would just have to answer phones and help me" Victoria said. "That way we could spend some time together."
